In 2018, Texas Rock outfit Old 97's are celebrating 25 years of making their unique blend of Alt Country, Rockabilly & Punk. We thought we'd commemorate this milestone with this Whataburger LIVE Performance of the Week of "Timebomb" - a frequent show closer captured live at Whitewater Music Amphitheater in 2015. This song was on their 1997 album 'Too Far to Care.'

I love when Rhett plays the acoustic guitar to these old songs. I have seen him play electric to these songs and it just don't sound nearly the same.
