It's probably optimized for their FALs with 4 groove, 1-12" rifling.

Got some of this during Covid, they're from 1986. Never tested for groups, but I found it to burn cleaner than the Federal 149 gr M80. Even the brass looks better than the Federal.

That PA-10 is hugely overgassed. I have 16" DPMS-pattern AR-10 too, and it kicked the snot out of me as well. It actually ripped rims off cases it was so bad. I fixed mine with a Rubber City Armorery adjustable gas key bcg. You might want to try an adjustable gas key or gas block.

I bought several cases of this back in the 90s for $150/1k rounds. Shot about 100 rds, then packed away the rest of it. Great ammo.

Man I picked up 100 rounds of 7.62 HP recently,,they came in these nice little brown boxes tape sealed ,,HP logo and all that.. it’s got green sealant and 80 ,,2 stars and 7.62x51 on the head stamp….I haven’t used any yet but I know they switched sealant colors to red and primers right around that 1980 time frame.. Or so I’m told..

I will say, the 7.62 tends to hold that 4 inch group up to, and farther than 500 yds.

Maybe the PA 16 needs a heavier buffer, spring, or maybe the gas port is oversized

That AAC stuff should definitely be shooting better than that. Especially out of a Savage 110. Out of my Savage Axis (gen 1), the AAC 150 gr FMJ gets about 2.5” on average when just shooting supported on a folding table. Maybe you just got a bad lot of the stuff, which I think is entirely possible.

I'm on the 3rd lot of AAC and the groupings still remain 4-6 MOA depending on my guns :(

This ammo IS NOT CHEAP. I checked 22 hours after this video was posted, and after shipping, this ammo is about $1 per round. How are you doing to claim it's cheap but not give price. I guess it is cheap if you got it for free.
@BuffRANGE
@BuffRANGE Ай бұрын
In the grand scheme of things, it's not cheap, but it is "cheaper" than Win M80 ball :D

@@BuffRANGE velocityammosales has Winchester 149gr m80 ball for just under $1 per round shipped. I genuinely like your stuff, but this is in no way "ultra cheap". Not even compared to overpriced Winchester. Igman is like 74cpr. Cheaper than both options you gave.

@@PrayingPanda Truth be told I was messing around with having more "catchy titles" and probably went overboard with calling it "Ultra-Cheap" :D

@@BuffRANGE say no to clickbait and lies. Plus it doesn't make sense to mention how cheap something is and not give the price, and the place/ rank in the market. If this is older ammo but reliable and consistent, that should be highlighted.

I picked up the new S&W .380 Bodyguard 2.O. It is a great little micro .380, the best on the market in my opinion. (But I've only tested it a few days...time will tell.) Even so it has some shortcomings. First let me say I had originally bought a Glock 42 .380 years ago. Worst gun I ever owned. Repeatedly jammed no matter what I fed it...and I tried 5 - 6 different loads in it. Sent it back to Glock and it came back worse than before. So much for American made. From what I gather it is a crapshoot with the low capacity, heavy, big G42's. Some work, some don't. Don't care, it is gone and never to return. Even so, I use G17s and G19s and never an issue with them. I like the micro .380's not for main CCW, I like them for ankle carry or for casual pocket carry in mesh shorts, when I'm just going out for a few minutes around the house. If and when things go to hell further, I'd carry a Glock 9mm holstered for going outside the house. But for now, in my local, the .380 is doable. One problem with the Bodyguard 2.0 is it does not reliably feed Underwood .380 Xtreme Defender Solid Monolithic or the Underwood .380 hard cast ammo. Both of these jam in the gun. I like these rounds for the penetration, especially the Solid Monolith Platinum coated ammo. The Platinum coated Solid Monolith is some of the best performing ammo on the market. Nothing else compares to it for penetration. But some guns just won't take it. All the other ammo I tried worked fine in the 2.0. (Ball & JHP) The 2.0 comes with an excessive amount of lubrication on it. For pocket carry you will need to clean it. Disassembly is a little more of a pain than normal striker guns. I had contacted Springfield to suggest they make a micro .380 called the 'Bobcat.' It would be a shrunk down version of the 9mm Hellcat. But they never did a thing. The S&W Bodyguard 2.0 .380 filled all my Bobcat wants in a micro .380...more or less. I'm very happy with it other than the Underwood issue. It would have been nice if S&W also included a mag loader with it. I have numerous UpLula mag loaders, so don't care. Just saying.
