Old Country Gravity Smoker Charcoal Relighting Left Over Coals Quickly

In this video we relight left over (in the charcoal chute) charcoal. We use our cordless blower to help things along. It does work very well and suggest you use one if you want to speed up the lighting of your charcoal. As always, thank you for watching. Lilly is featured at the end of the video.

Methinks the charcoal has obtained some moisture that is why it is harder to start. I do like the ash bin you made.

hi...I am not sure why...living in South Louisiana with an average humidity of 1000000000%..... lol!!!.... yea...it had a lot of moisture...and thanks.....I use the ash bin time to time....ty for watching!

I noticed the taller smoke stack that you added. Does it help much with draw of air?

it might have had...but I use the electronic temp controler...it keeps the temp spot on!

it does keep the smoke higher out of face level.....some people say it works......it should help with the draw...I do suggest the electronic controller....kinda pricy...nut perfect results everytime! ty for watching...maybe I will try it.....
