Hey, it's a non-numbers matching Swinger 340 with a big block in it. With MAACO, a lot depends on the manager/owner, the crew, your time line, how much strip-down & prep you do or are willing to pay for. People can run their mouths, I've had two pick ups done at the MAACO in Bellevue, WA and it's about 5 years later and the trucks both still look good. Perfect? No, but really good, especially for vehicles you use & drive. They did a great job, both are base/clear and both were a little under $9K - the bigger truck is an F350, crew cab, long bed and took 5 gallons of product to do....

Very nice. Yeah that thing will probably accommodate a 1050 CFM easy. My brother's 69dart little 340 small block w2 head13.5 to1 compression we ran a 950 cfm.

Maaco can spray paint OK. Just don't ask them to fix any body panels. Complete hacks. On the exhaust, when the springs are under the frame some creativity is required if tailpipe are desired with the tips in the factory position. Plenty of pic around showing how others have come up with tail pipes.

Almost there. Just going to leave the front driveshaft out of the Ramcharger to make it easier to dyno with the 400/426. It’ll be after the Tcase of course so, probably get to the Dyno in August.

@sorta_stock Same thing I did with my 81 Cherokee S. Was getting 17-19mpg without the front shaft and 3.31 gears! I listen to your videos while working as a welder/fabricator. Makes the day fly by.

@@sorta_stockmy buddie had a b5 blue 69 swinger back in the day was a beautiful car my favorite Mopar colors b5 blue and plum crazy I’m doing a 71 swinger right now that I’m putting a 440 in hopefully it will be on rd buy next spring summer as I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 and I can work on it all winter I have two 440s and I’m not rich so I’ll put a 74 motor in basically stock and I have a 70 steel crank motor I will build in spare time and depending on money but I want about 450 500 horse parts are a lot more here in Canada and parts are not as easy to find unless you have a stack of cash which I don’t but I’ll get it done one way or another

FYI. Those headers are the old Pro Parts/Bob Mazzolini semi fenderwell headers. I would be curious what mods were required for the four speed. I have a set and I those headers were supposed to allow the four speed without modification. Power steering and brakes as well. Some guy is trying to tell me that MAJOR mods are required to fit the fours speed. If you get a chance to look I would appreciate letting me know if you see a major rework of a tube. Also whether your Z-Bar is factory of modified. Nice rig.

Looking back at it, it seems like there’s plenty of room for power steering. I’ll take a look at the pipes and see if any were modified this weekend. I’ll reply back here.

Nice! Muscle Motors used to, or still does, offer killer CNC porting on Mopar iron heads, about 2k back in the early 2000’s. Hopefully yours are?

The fronts are F70-R15s. Basically the same size as a 215/70r15

@@sorta_stock I had a 383 it was built a little in my FS BARRACUDA I HAD A 391 and on the Hiway I also had a taller tire but it would rev about 3000at 70 mph so it wasn’t the best on the Hiway

Awesome car Bud were in the process of building a Duster 440 auto I started it in 2011 when I bought a 71 Cuda Drag car and put the Duster on hold after I had it painted silver were putting a 5.9 Hemi in the Cuda but the Duster gets built 1st I'm gonna give the Duster to my Daughter and the Cuda to my Son when I get to old to race I'm only 67 so hopefully that I can continue to race for a few more years
