Certainly have missed Finnegan and Freiburger since Roadkill moved to a pay to stream platform. This little snippet is truly magic. Reminds me of why I loved that youtube show. @@davidphillips3953 not a problem, i haven't kept up on RK, but i thought I remember a "joker slid into the deck", that F'berg had found a big block dart that reminded him of PCT...or that the seller had built something based on that series of magazine articles. i will confess to a Dart "bent" myself, my father inherited his aunt's chicken farm and rented it out to a fella who collected 340 darts before the prices went off, and my second apartment in college had a pair of Dart Gt's converted to 440 status for sale on the front lawn. seems like around here at least, the days of cheap darts and novas are gone--its just the ford falcons now.

This track is so cool because of the added danger factor.Nerves of steel and a good set-up takes precedent over the faster car in a lot of cases here, it seems.Definitely good practice for true street racing. It`s fun to see the YT community interact with the big guys.

Love Derek's channels. True American! This was really a great episode of some of my Favorite people to watch; wish Steve Dulcich was in this one too, lol. Sadly there are a lot of "small" tracks closing. It would be nice to be able to save them, and re-open them. Motor Trend has a lot of great shows, for sure. Unfortunately, they canceled Junkyard Gold with Steve Magnante. It was quite educational.

I've found whenever you weld a center....weld it till you think its enough-then double that (then add a whole bunch more). They always break loose somehow. (probably something to do with the metal compositions and the forces involved)

Just a friendly reminder do not use brake cleaner to clean parts for welding. Depending on the type of brake cleaner, the fumes when welding can be mustard gas….

A locker is terrible on a street/strip car because you've eliminated the differentiation in outside tire rotation to inside tire rotation when you turn a corner. Go down to the junk yard & find a limited-slip or a new one really isn't that expensive. For me, I'd purchase a "Truetrac" or "Torson" diff. Do a YT search & see for yourselves. Anyway, I really like Team F&F w/ sometimes co-star Dulcich & Derek is a great addition.

Goodness, had a 68 dart gt that same color brown, was a 383 4spd, don't know if was original or not but that's how I got it
