Old Faithful is located in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the southwest section of the park. The Upper Geyser Basin consists of 150 geysers and hundreds of hot springs in one square mile. To reach these other hydrothermal features there are several trail variations with different distances. We did a 1 mile round trip boardwalk loop around Geyser Hill. This loop provides just a glimpse of what the Upper Geyser Basin has to offer, such as geysers, hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles.
