The best is that it looks old and original , but in good condition. As opposed to stripped and sanded down, stained and polished to look new! THIS is history!😸

I never thought I would ever say this but I believe you’re better at repairing and blending wood and wood furniture than my brother. My brother has left me flabbergasted and in disbelief at the repairs and builds that he has made, but you’ve gone a step further. This comment I’m leaving you is the highest compliment I could ever leave another person, your talent goes beyond belief and you’re a legend in my opinion. So thank you for the entertainment, I’ll be looking forward to your next video.

You should watch Thomas Johnson antique furniture restoration. He is a real master. He explains what and why he does something. Ahti explains generally, but Thomas explains in detail.

I like how instead of sanding down to real wood grain, you matched the original work or the first restoration of the painted faux wood grain. You remove only what cannot be restored, leaving as much of the original as possible, and matching its design! 👍😻

Amazing work! I never thought that it can be saved, but skilled people with magical hands showed me otherwise. I love that the table still remains very old, yet nice. It is far from perfect by modern expectations of how a table should look like, but that is what gives it value. It is a lovely restored old table that shows its age.

Looks like a lot of the farm tables in the American West, which makes sense, because so many Eastern Europeans came here and presumably made things using the skills they brought with them! Beautiful restoration, as always . Edit: i was going to veneer a drop leaf table i have. Now, i might try the faux graining!
