My mom would put hers in a big glass jar and put in fridge, all the vegetables were covered with the mix ..

I remember what we called refrigerator pickles basically the same thing but with white vinegar and more sugar little bit of salt and pepper

I love the old fashioned cucumbers and onions. Was raised on them. I also change it up at times,using tomatoes/cucumbers/onions/bell pepper,plus any other vegetables like broccoli/cauliflower/etc…. With a quality oil,red wine vinegar,a few packages of artificial sweetener. Yummmm. Thanks Kristi!!!

Hi Kristi, just like trapped7534, I was raised on cucumbers and still love them to this day!!! Love the way you made them…back in the day we used white vinegar and no sugar. But I am going to try your way of making them! Great video my friend!❤❤

You can use any vinegar you want.

I love cucumber, but I have to peel them because the peel gives me horrible digestion. Plus the peel tastes bitter to me. Otherwise, the cucumbers are so refreshing.

Use burpless cucumbers. Don't have to peel them.
