Hi Elaine! This corn dish looks SO yummy. And of course it’s better with bacon right? I really want to try this. Nice seeing your music studio! The bathroom looks awesome!

Thanks so much! You're right about the bacon, it really sets it off. My mom made it when I was growing up, but she didn't add the bacon. She also used whole milk, because we rarely had cream. Occasionally, we had Half & Half, so mom would use that. In the summer, my dad would stop at one of the local farm markets on his way home from work and pick up some fresh corn. It was SO good! Thanks so much for watching, I'm happy that you stopped by!

Wow, it looks like you've been very busy!! Everything looks very nice, Elaine. Your home has a nice floor plan and is very welcoming. Thanks for showing us around! I've never had fried corn, but it sure looks delicious! Sweet corn here is just coming into season so I'll have to give it a try!

Hey there, Denise! Fried corn is an old southern favorite and if you make it, I'm sure that you'll see why. I could make a meal on just that alone, but Ron always wants more, lol. Thanks for taking the time to watch my bonus video of my studio. It was a lot of work and unfortunately, I don't work as fast as I used to, so I had to delay my students until I got this done. I'm very happy with the way that it turned out. Thanks so much for watching, I'm so happy that you stopped by! Take care!

@@ElainesCountryHome I certainly can relate to slowing down. No more late night projects for me. I'm going to try your corn recipe. With those ingredients, what's not to like?!?

Hi there, hoe can you tell when the corn is cooked enough? Is there a time or a color that the corn turns to? Or do you taste a piece? Thanks for this new variation of cooking corn. Nice to know you teach 🎶 congratulations! Children need to study mare than the 3 R’s. Makes for a well rounded person. God bless you and your family.

It depends on how done you like it. I usually only cook mine until it becomes a brighter yellow and still has a little crunch. My father used to want his cooked down until it was mushy (which I really don't like, lol). Once it changes color, just give it a taste and see if it's to your liking. Thanks so much for watching!
