Since this didn't seem to overwhelm you at all I'd throw it into the bourbony bourbon cupboard and let it get lost to memory. At $115 - pass. Simply too many other whiskeys out there with quality just as good or better and often at a lower price tag. It seems like too many of the producers are getting into the "boutique" whiskey style and it's starting to get old.

This is what the ridiculous secondary market buyers have given us. BTAC MSRP $129, but people paying thousands. Same with Van Winkle, etc. has led to the distilleries pushing the MSRP for meh bottles into the hundreds just to capitalize on the idiocy. For twice the price it better be WAY fkn good. So sick of getting dicked around for half decent bourbon these days.

You should do a blind 10 yr - this vs JD10, Russell’s, Eagle Rare and McKenna. They’re all around the same proof. Would be interesting.

I did on a livestream and knob creek 12 won. McKenna got 2nd.

Hmm, as much as I love OF can't justify that srp (+ store markup) for a 10yr. Would think 1897 @100pr to be a better matchup. Cheers buddy!

I would love to understand the pricing strategy on this bottle. it's a 10 year, 100 proof, for an msrp of $120... What am I missing? I tasted it. It was decent. ECBP, even with reduced age statement is still older, higher proof, cheaper, and in my opinion better. Even the 1920 tastes better in my opinion, and at half the price. Why is this priced so dang high????

Buffalo Trace has heat cycled Warehouses...maybe that's why everything except ER is NAS.
