When we moved into our old farmhouse in 1988, the washer & dryer were in the kitchen. We moved it to the enclosed back porch. The dishwasher was under the electric wall oven and next to the stove, well away from the sink on a different wall! Nice to see a young man who actually knows what he's doing!

Like your new channel and these kind of videos, great step by step instructions. Our house is 1940's so there is always some repair needed. The toilet float valve yesterday was just what we needed to see! Best of all good things wished for you and Coree. Been following your channel since you and Robert were in Georgia.

Thought you were going to use the area behind the now dryer for a chalkboard. My dryer vent was put through the floor and then vented outside. Asbestos shingles are the worse.

When we moved into our old house we couldn’t run the washer and the radio at the same time it would blow a fuse all is well now with a lot of work 50 yrs later

The smooth dryer vent pipe is much safer. That flexible stuff collects lint.

--->MICE CAME IN our dryer vent so we needed to instal a three foot extention and that ended the problem. Thumbs up reminding people to check the lint buildup.

There are some kits that eliminate the accordion hose, but that necessitates very accurate measurement. It's all made of non-flexible tin which as less tendency to grab onto lint.

@@rt3box6tx74 That's what I used to hook up my dryer. Only one elbow. Just cleaned after 8 years and got maybe a pint of lint out.

Just remember that all of that old shingle sideing is most l;ikely made with abestious, so be careful, cause you do not need to be getting seriuously sick from that.
