I was going to say not an antique as it has philips screws.
@Green-hg5hc5 жыл бұрын
I even checked in Wikipedia when PH screws were patented ;)
@ianallen25 жыл бұрын
@@Green-hg5hc Although cross head screws were invented in the 1930's, the PH was 1962, but they were not commerctially used until late 1970's. They were made properly back then with good steel. These days, they are made with cheap metal and round out if used too many times. Same as Allen / Hex bolts and screws, they were made years before being commercially used. Just like cross head or PH, they round out if seized or used again and again. lol.

December 1983… I have t-shirts older than that. It was rusty because it was a cheap piece of mass produced kitschy trash. Having said that, you did a very nice cleanup, polish and paint job on the scales and it probably looks better than it did when purchased new. It is always more interesting when you restore genuine antiques. An antique is generally anything over 100 years old and anything between 50 - 100 is called vintage.

"interdit pour toutes transactions" means "forbidden for all transactions" basically means that this balance cannot be legally used for - Commercial transactions. -The calculation of a toll, tariff, tax, premium, fine, remuneration, indemnity or similar type of charge. -The application of legislation, or regulations, or for judicial expertise. -The medical practice regarding the weighing of patients for reasons of surveillance, diagnosis and medical treatments. - The manufacture of prescription drugs in pharmacy and the determination of the masses during the analyzes carried out in the medical and pharmaceutical laboratories. -The determination of the price according to the mass for the direct sale to the public and the preparation of prepackages. this is because the scales used for those activities are subject to regular controls to verify the accuracy of the scale and protect the customer/client from fraudulent sellers and alos protect the latter in case of an unjustified plaint from a client
