Brilliant! Very rarely someone's rendition of a song makes me a bigger fan of the song. That's the case here. I am a 48 year old musician and connoisseur of fine music. Oh man Luke you're killing me. I was 16 when this album came out. 1969 was a magical summer for me. This was so beautifully done that it made me cry. I never thought back then that I'd become the "Old man" but I did. lol You're brilliant. Thank you Luke.

I'm only 32, but the further away I get from "24 and there's so much more", the sadder the song gets! Though I wasn't around for 1969, I did grow up with two awesome baby boomer parents who played this album often (along with After the Gold Rush). It's one of my all-time favorites, and "Old Man" is just...mmm!
