Right from the start, I new this was going to be a long hard journey and figured the only way to get through it and stay sane, was to be positive and relaxed as much as possible. I'm managing that so far and it certainly does make it easier. I can't change what happened so I must make the best of it. Cheers Rog

glad to hear good slow progress. getting out and interacting is important. my father is 87 and lives in Florida, but did his last road trip with his wife. they stopped by my home on there way home and i wanted to take him to a ball game. every body thought it was stupid idea. but i am a Physical therapist and think its important that old people get old when people treat them old. he went and loved it. i saw it in my own eyes, when we got back home, my step mom thanked me. so good seeing you out!

Really good to see that you are getting out and about on your chariot! They are a game changer when you have mobility issues and can really stop you going crazy from being stuck indoors. Glad you are making progress with the recovery and hope to see you on the bike again sooner or later. Maybe you could do a history vlog from your chariot? It would be a bit slower than the bike, but we would all tune in 😂

Hiya Rog. Always good to see and hear a bit more of your, fortunately, good news about the progression of your sad delemma... onwards and up eh ! What a lovely surrounding to spend some of your rehab time in that park. The weather has also been kind to you as well. Unfortunately, here we have had a lot of rain, and hardly any good weather for longer rambles, i've only managed to get in two full days of good and dry riding so far. the rest has been about 3hrs or 4 at a stretch. The temps have also had trouble getting up to decent summer numbers and find themselves mostly quite a bit under your highs. Looking forward (as usual) to another of your rambles, but in the meantime, look after yourself, don't go picking up too many speeding tickets in your eChariot, and go easy on your Mrs's nerves. Thanks Steve. Yes, its certainly a lovely place to be and the weathers been great which also helps. I have friends touring southern Belgium on their motorcycles at the moment and the weathers not been very good for them unfortunately. The wife seems to be putting up with me so far and is very supportive so I try not to be nuisance 😂😂. Regards Rog

Best to make the most of a bad situation cos worrying or getting angry only make things worse and this will be a long journey to recovery. Good to hear from you. The update on your leg sounds encouraging, let’s hope it continues. I hope your physio sessions at DRI are more reliable than what my grandson is experiencing from them. Thanks Martin. Sorry to hear of your grandsons disappointment with DRI physio, I can't fault them. It's a weekly trauma group I attend and the Physios who run it are really good. Very attentive and always pushing me that little bit more. Yes it's a beautiful caravan park and at the moment the weather couldn't be better, I'm loving it and I'm sure it's helping my healing process😅 Cheers Rog

@@old-n-Goldie he is supposed to have a session once a week at his nursery, it is a rare occurrence if they show up. My daughter pays for a private session for him, by an ex member of the DRI physio team, to ensure some continuity in treatment.

That's not good, unfortunately our NHS is at breaking point in many sectors. Its a shame that many people are forced to use private health services to get what they need. Hope he's progressing OK.
