We watch the film ‘Killing Eve’ in England., and disgusted how Russia is shown there-dirty, ruined. People are ugly and silly. The film was filmed in Romania, by the way. All the cities and towns in Russia are clean with beautiful architecture. People are beautiful, friendly, well educated.

On the other hand,UK is fed with false propaganda.The business houses are owned by ex colonial subjects.Some parts of UK look like a third world country.There is nothing great about UK(Great Britain and Northern Ireland).There is rampant unemployment.

I am amazed by these old buildings. They are timeless because they can stand and get old and stay in good beautiful condition! I love the real wood work and the natural wood color. I prefer wood to be unpainted since it shows its real natural beauty! Nice job of showing! Appreciate it much!

the workmanship in those houses was very meticulous back in the days...the house the I liked the most is the one with the balcony, the wood carving and pattern would have looked like a real work of art...

I love the historic section of the city very much so this is of interest to me.
@mykofreder16824 жыл бұрын
Only on the internet do you get locals showing you historic corners of the places they live. I am surprised the 100+ year old wooden houses haven't burned down. Maybe they are not as close together or the cooler weather and snow reduce the big fires that destroy hundreds of homes in historic areas or maybe in dense city centers they just get replaced because land is at a premium.

I love looking at old houses. I try to imagine what the family felt as they moved into the brand new house. Did they feel giddy, prideful, relieved, blessed? Did they rush around trying to arrange furniture and decorations just right? Did they let out a sigh of relief as they settled in their beds that first night? Love your videos! - From Louisiana, USA

Very nice and brings back many memories of when I was a student at the Ural Conservatoire. In those days, 1960's Soviet times, we would take our instruments and play in front of Ipatiev House which was very annoying to the police. Of course we could not enter. Thanks for your wonderful videos. These help to show that we are not the beasts that western media makes us. - Евгений

MaestroAlber ; I agree. There is so much that could be shared between Russia and the US. Russia depends on exports; the US is a consumer-based economy. Surely we could find a way to do more business with each other.

I love the distinctive architecture, and the differences too. The main has looks rustic with Scandinavian looking accents whereas the servant's house has a semi Victorian look but yet it's own distinctive Imperial look. Super cool! I only know about 50 Russian words....and still can't pronounce Yekaterinburg like a local 🙄. Adorable Shiba Inu; dog people seem friendly the World over 🙂.

Doggies are super cute! They make any video even better! 😀😍 I love such amazing old Russian houses, but it is clear, that there are no such ones here in Volgograd....
@somersetdc4 жыл бұрын
I agree about the doggies. Love the Sheba-Inu. There probably is not much in Volograd that is pre-war. The whole world is eternally grateful for the heroic fight by the Red Army in Stalingrad/Volograd that turned the tide and saved the world from fascism. You have a right to very proud of your city -- even if there is not much historical buildings left.
@Viktor1964p2 жыл бұрын
@@somersetdc Because of an accidental slip of the tongue, you ended up with a completely different city. And it so happened that there is such a city in Russia. Vologda and Volgograd are two completely different cities. You got them mixed up by accident. They wrote Vologda, and we were talking about Volgograd. But Vologda is an old Russian city with mostly wooden houses. He was far from the front line and there were no battles there. The city is located much to the north, surrounded by forests and is famous for its dairy production and the famous Vologda butter. And Volgograd is located to the south in the steppe zone and, in addition to the famous Battle of Stalingrad, is known for its industrial enterprises and a tractor plant.

I hope you do more - and it would be so nice to see the inside, too, (once this coronavirus cloud goes away, and they're open once more)!! The dogs were an added nice touch. the pup that wanted to play is beautiful! (I am a dog lover, big ones, as well as small ones.)
