Love your videos Bob and Jenny, so informative. My husband and I are newbies to motorhoming and find your videos, both technical, and the historical sites you visit so informative. I get teased because I always "check with Bob" any time we have an motorhoming issue! Please keep on doing what you do.

I live in Durrington, which used to be called Durrington Walls a short distance from stonehenge and the dreaded A303, we are so lucky to have wonderful places to visit. I haven't been up to Old Sarum for a few years, and I really enjoyed the tour. I have been following your vlogs for the last couple of years, since we started motor homing, and have found them very informative, great when planning our own trips. Keep up the good work.

Lots of superlatives from you there Bob! As mentioned before, I worked there for 11 years and visitors generally were surprised how much was left of the castle. So much important history occurred at Old Sarum (by the way, pronounced Sairum). One of the original and best preserved Magna Carta was brought to the cathedral after sealing at Runnymede in 1215. No doubt you saw that in new Sarum cathedral, to where it was transferred. The access road has coaches up so a motorhome is no problems. Great video. Cheers Martin

We stayed at the Salisbury C&C club site and visited old sarum, we just walked across the field to it. so much bigger than you think, an amazing place. We also visitied Salisbury cathedral and saw the Magna Carta. We went the year before that awful chemical attack when an innocent lady died. Her husband took home a pretty bottle for her which he found which contained it. Again the Kremlin denied having anything to do with it. So sad.

Is this the biggest palace ruins in Brittan? Perhaps larger than Windsor? Barbro EvanderLindquist Sweden

No I don't think so. Also, Windsor is not a ruin, Mrs Windsor would be not be amused. 😅

Well, Bob ! The filmer and ressigore, did shos the perspective at this fantastic ruin! And mrs Windsor, i hope she have an own cave down stairs near the big refrigerator and the freezer, with a ice bazine for the feets. Pepole over 96 , bless her, or over 66 shuld stay calm, here yesterday it was 36, 4 C. And yes it was hot! For both humans and 4 feeted creatures! We even put oute a bird bath for the young Magpies !They used the water bowls for the cats to bath in. And not used catlitter box is splendid! The birds liked it! As young bird yearlings usualy is funny! Now its time for Salisbury cathedral, wonder how the perspective is to day! Hope you had a pub with AC! Remember a visit at a pub in Scotland with somthing shewing under the table, yes it was a Scottie munching ice! ❄☃️❄🇸🇪🕊
