I really enjoyed that. Full of interesting facts. And happy memories, I was a frequent visitor here a number of years ago. I'm looking at filming at Old Sarum myself and just concentrating on the Rotten Borough aspect of its history. This place returned two members to Parliament, and at one time, even William Pitt the Elder, and yet large conurbations had no MPs at all.

Another incredible production! I watched it twice! My question this week is, where did all of the rubble go that made up all of the buildings? Is it just overgrown with grass? Was it hauled off and used somewhere else?
@PinnedonPlaces2 жыл бұрын
Between 1909 and 1915, It was excavated for the archealogical society of London. A second excavation also happened in the 1950s. Their isnt much detail about this but presumably they filled it back in with dirt and grass overgrew it!
