There is no school like the old school brother. You are so right saying just because they are old school does not mean they are not effective. I especially liked those 2 3/4'' loads. They would do the trick. You and the family have a blessed day.

Thanks for another GREAT and informative video. I have learned so much by watching your videos. As a S.C. boy myself... its good to see ammo made in our humid conditions that work so well. I have been reloading metallic for about 18 years. Figured I might try my hand at shotshell first part of January and your videos has helped me more than you know. Thank you and Miss Rachel for all the hard work and valuable time yall invest in the educational videos you produce. God bless you and your family.

Hey Wade! Love those old school loads for my old model 12 that's 2&3/4" only! My father bought it new in 1953, mail order from the Sears catalog and handed it down to me before he past. Love the vids, keep the good stuff coming and give us an update (praying it's good) on Ms Jo Anne when you can.

Wade, thanks as always! To my best recollection, that is the first load I remember you using green dot. And I know it’s not on your recommended loads. Seems like a viable alternative, especially with those speeds. Why don’t you use it more often? Possible pressure with buffer and heavier payloads?

Mr. Wade thank you for this great video. I need to ask a question and some your knowledge? I have a Winchester 1300 pump with a slug barrel and can not afford to buy a regular barrel for it. I can buy a new gun for less than a new barrel would cost. What I want to know is is there some loads I can put together to use with this gun and barrel? The gun is a 12 gauge and smooth bore slug barrel.

Wade, be watching your video for some time now and can’t remember if you made a video with a lite full buck kickers and 000 buck or the big boys the quad buck (0.380)? If so then I miss it I have go back and watch it.
Wade is have experienced this very much with CB1138-12 especially in my #00 loads. The wads come out looking just like your black twisted up plastic ones. In my testing I did exactly what you said with .050” cardboard 20 ga undershot card inside and that one came out near perfect. Question: would you suggest simply building the load with the undershot card in CB1138-12 all the time? Because you just don’t know when you will get a bag of these softer plastic wads.
@BubbaRountreeOutdoors Жыл бұрын
I don't use an over-powder card in the Remington Express hulls. But I use 1 in all the others when using the CB1138-12 wad.

@@BubbaRountreeOutdoors Thank you, yes my loads in Win. AA old style and in Federal slug or buckshot hulls the CB1138-12 wads were just hammered . Roll crimped or conventional pie crimp

hi i have a problem with my 12 gauge loads 2.3 grams imr blue fiber for charging and the problem is that I get a lot of gunpowder left in the barrel what am i doing wrong? mvh pontus sweden
@BubbaRountreeOutdoors Жыл бұрын
if you are placing the fiber wad directly over the powder then you don't have a good enough seal over the powder. You won't have enough back pressure to burn the powder correctly. You will need a gas seal or a nitro card to go over the powder.

I have a stoger question,I bought a M-3000 and M-3500 last week NIB the 3500 works flawlessly the 3000 might as well be a single shot I've tried 5 different brands of ammo from 2&3/4" to 3" magnum buckshot, turkey loads, and birdshot it shoots great but will not cycle any rounds the heavy turkey load almost ejects I know it has to be a gas issue just know nothing about stoger
@BubbaRountreeOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Stoeger calls for a 100 round break-in period. It should cycle the heavy loads now! Stoeger recommends 1 1/8th Oz game loads for the break-in. Make sure you remove the shipping grease from both of those Stoegers!

Great videos mr wade enjoy them a lot thanks quick question what dose a 3&1/2 12 gage kick harder than a 3 inch mag even though they hold the same powder charge
@joearledge12 жыл бұрын
If the powder charge is perfectly the same in both shells and the recoil is increased, then the projectile/ payload weight is heavier in the 3 1/2" shell.
@BubbaRountreeOutdoors2 жыл бұрын
The 3 1/2 should have a heavier payload for sure! That creates more pressure.
