Good morning Chef! We used to kill our own hogs, but I’m 60 years old now and not able since my husband passed away. Made my own lard and breakfast sausage. We never kept the feet or ears, this guy that helped us always wanted them, but yours sure looks good. We smoked the hams in the smokehouse. Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day!

Hello Chef Jeffrey You have brought back so many wonderful memories. Back when I was a child....There was a small Bbq place in Louisiana we used to buy smoked meats like chicken, ribs, brisket and pig feet and that smoked meat was absolutely delicious. Your smoked pig feet reminds me of those days. Thanks for sharing. I want to make some myself and you will definitely get the credit. We Love you Chef and God’s Blessings to you and your family 🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️

We always ate pig feet growing up, I stopped eating them in the last 10 years. Barbeque pigs feet was the bomb. This was a treat. I remember New Years eve, my mom would cook them along with a spread of black eyed peas, yams, she would bake sweet potatoes never candied for some reason. Cornbread and collar greens and maybe mac and cheese. I still do the black eye peas, maybe this coming New year I do a roast pork for the old school good times memories. Thanks again♥️
