Your camera work is fantastic. Also love the voiceover format vs. yelling over restaurant music/noise. What camera brand/model do you use?

Thanks for the kind words! It's a Sony camera for vlogging.

Looks yum ! Love Singapore noodles hard to find a good order not drowned in curry, nice! Chow Fun is my dish I like mine dry with barbecued pork but this presentation looked interesting, would try . What's not to like. Which brings me to the egg foo young my all time favorite...being east coast ( north Jersey) in SoCal since 98 still can't find it !! Interesting how they pour the meat and veggies on top of a plain egg foo young, of course I like it mixed in the foo young but would not turn that down !! The Chinese restaurant's in LA just don't get it ?? Anyhow great review and just might check this place out this year... Cheers ❤

Where is your favorite place to get Egg Foo Young?

You do such a great job on the descriptions for the food entrees. Just wanted to verify the price on that first drink was basically the same as the entrees. Was that an error or is it an alcoholic beverage?
@LetsEatVegas6 күн бұрын
Good catch! Despite watching this video several times before releasing it, we didn't notice the error on the Drink title! It was supposed to list a range of prices, between $3 and $5. Somehow, the label for the drink section was copied from the label for the Dragon Bite Chicken section..D'oh! Thanks for pointing that out. Sadly, there's not much I can do about it now, lol.
@bigtdawg26265 күн бұрын
@LetsEatVegas good to know. That was going to be an expensive drink.

We visited Dragon Bite yesterday. We were already familiar with some of the wonderful places you've reviewed, having visited them before your reviews came out, but this was the first time we paid our initial visit to actually dine at a place after viewing one of your videos. I'd be willing to share our reactions in detail privately with you if you are interested, but not publicly on your channel. Please understand that although I don't have the extensive foodie experience that you do, my background includes two-plus years of living in Taiwan, where I took cooking classes, and to this day experimenting with various Chinese dishes at home.

Sounds interesting! Our email can be found on our channel details. Feel free to comment about Dragon Bite that way.

@@LetsEatVegas I will hope to do that within a few days. I'm working on a couple of projects that I need to make some progress on, including a presentation I'm developing on the exploding pagers in Lebanon last September. Then I will send you some comments.

We live literally 5 minutes up the street from Dragon Bite. When we tried to dine there after they opened a few months ago, the open kitchen revealed that they were seriously understaffed, with people saying they had waited a long time to be served, and others giving up and leaving. Perhaps now they have hit their stride. Though it seems most of the reviewed dishes were heavily sauced, not all that common with Cantonese cuisine, Dragon Bite certainly merits another visit based on this review.

Yes, It would seem they've worked out the kinks. Thanks for the heads up and glad to hear you're up for another go; I think you'll be happy you did, 😋😋😁😁. The family has a long history in the restaurant business. I believe the father had a restaurant in Hong Kong for many years before coming to the states.

I have had to quit eating Chinese food unless I make it myself. I can't have shellfish, eel or oyster sauce and nitrates or food dyes. 90% of the Chinese restaurant food has one of these items in it.
@LetsEatVegas9 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear that, 😔. Maybe you can have the occasional 'cheat day', 😁😁
@richardwong91369 күн бұрын
Stop misleading with your presumptuous zealous attitude; unless those shrimp are caught still, swimming, they cannot be termed "fresh"! 99% they are frozen. You do not impress. Try to be a simple reviewer.😊
@LetsEatVegas9 күн бұрын
In common speech, 'fresh' doesn't mean lifted from the ocean seconds ago. That's YOUR misguided notion. If something were plucked from the sea, never frozen or preserved, and then let sit out for 10 hours in the sun such that they now taste fishy and disgusting, I wouldn't say, "well, it was picked live and never frozen, therefore it's fresh." Anyway, we'll take your comment under advisement. I'll send it off to our Chief Nitpicking Officer, Charles Oliver Peanut, and await his decision. 😁
