That Uter End on Elspeth was extremely questionable with that dictated and Ghave in play. Also, 11:36 that was a small missplay hurt my Ghave player mechanincs. He could had easily just do the put saproling and sac it inmediately to kill Saskia with the dictate while leaving Ghave big and having a soldier ready to sac for the emblem AND he could had easily put some saprolings for Micoloth wile leaving Ghave alive. In my experience, going all out on a Micoloth its quite the gamble.

Interesting choices for Mindslaver there. I would have grabbed Skyler and Corbin's turn. But that is a pretty cool achievement unlocked with the kill he got.

I feel this sudden urge to build Erebos now... but the latest one (Bleak-Hearted). He doesn't draw as much hate as he doesn't stop opposing lifegain, provides removal and is a sac outlet, all while still drawing cards.

It always drives me nuts when people spread their graveyard across their play mats. Makes their board states look way more intense than they actually are. Make a pile and only check it whenever you are going to interact with it like a normal person
@Cephalopopo
@Cephalopopo 9 ай бұрын
If you are playing graveyard interaction like Reanimator or anything it is better to spread it since you do not want your opponents to know when your graveyard is relevant to you. In that case you actually need to spread out for strategic reasons.

It seemed more like a Pat versus Corbin game. I don't know why Corbin targeted the elspheth over the dictate he could atleast have creatures on board. sadge. Pat just had alot of planeswalkers early game which lead to some hasty targeting from Corbin

@corhydrae3238
@corhydrae3238 2 жыл бұрын
But he's so easy to build, too. You just throw in whatever cards you have lying around that sound like they could even remotely synergize with him and you probably end up going infinite somehow.
@kingfuzzy2
@kingfuzzy2 2 жыл бұрын
@@corhydrae3238 yep he goes infinite with a ham sandwich. I'd if I ever chose to build him would go saproling / fungus tribal or a weird scourge block creature type like nightstalkers.
@corhydrae3238
@corhydrae3238 2 жыл бұрын
@@kingfuzzy2 Fungus tribal Ghave was actually my very first commander deck. But Ghave isn't really the best option for that in my opinion. After trying Thelon for a while, I eventually settled on Slimefoot for that deck. As a weird idea for Ghave: He actually works well as a lifegain commander. He's in the right colors, and there's a bunch of ways to gain life when creatures enter the battlefield (which he can trigger with his tokens) and a bunch of synergy between lifegain and +1/+1 counters as well as lifegain and sacrifice-stuff.

Im confused on the mycoloth and sorin emblem. If both trigger on upkeep, wouldnt mycoloth make the tokens first since it belongs to the active player?
@DarkEinherjar
@DarkEinherjar 2 жыл бұрын
The triggers go to the stack in APNAP (Active Player, Non-Active Player) order, so Mycoloth's trigger goes to the stack first, then the emblem (which Corbin controls). Then they resolve in reverse order. Skyler would've lost his Mycoloth if he hadn't created a token before the triggers started resolving.
@VinceTheCoyote

@@DarkEinherjar oh right, mycoloth DOES trigger first but it resolves top down. Thanks

I think it would put Mycoloth's on the stack first, then Sorins, meaning Sorin would resolve first, right? If it goes on the stack in ANAP order and all?
