Thanks for the review! (sorry for my English - I use an online translator :)) Could you answer some questions for me? 1. Is it possible to enable several effect blocks at the same time, for example a combination of overdrive + octaver + flanger, etc.? 2. Since it has an XLR connector, does it work like a DI box? 3. Is it possible to somehow include a soundtrack or music in it in order to practice with a backing track in headphones? 4. How do you like the looper?

Ok so here it goes: 1. Yes that is possible, that's where you would use the Memory mode. You can programme any amount of changes behind switches 1-4. So your preset 1 can be a clean sound for example and preset 2 would be a completely different sound with a different amp and drive pedals for example. 2. Yes, you don't need a separate DI box with ME-90b. I have used the XLR out on the ME-90b both here in the studio and playing live without a DI box. 3. There's no Aux in on ME-90b. You could try plugging something in into the effects return, but I'm not sure how good that would sound. 4. I don't do looping that much, so I haven't actually tried it haha!

Hey. Are you able to do volume swells? You know, like bring in a sound with lotsa Reverb and Delay and it carries on when bringing the pedal back. On mine, all sounds stops when bringing the pedal back to zero. I have done a factory reset but to no avail. Roland has never heard of that issue. Thanks

Its a really good unit, but the GX-10 has a lot of bass stuff in it too, and is much more powerful/flexible. Its much smaller, but unfortunately has no battery option (or even power over USB). The strengths of the ME-90B are ease of use, battery powered option, maybe some unique features (not sure if the GX-10 has the Terra Echo, or the Studio bass pedal, they're great on the ME-90B though!) Negatives of the ME-90B are IMO price, much more than the GX-10 or even the almost identical ME-90 (guitar model), the size (GX-10 wins for backpack friendly size) lack of flexibility with effects order, no DI and the silly optional bluetooth adapter (although the GX-10 is the same on this point).

Me90b or GT1000 -core??? for bass

I haven't tried the GT1000 Core, but if it has the same sounds as ME-90b, than it just comes down to what form factor you like more.

THE LACK OF AN AUX INPUT JUST MADE THIS PEDAL USELESS FOR MANY BASS PLAYERS. THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT TOOL FOR HOME USE, AND NO THE BLUETOOTH IS NOT WHAT MOST OF US LIKE, ESPECIALLY SINCE THE BOSS BLUETOOTH DOES NOT ALWAYS WORKS.WHAT IS WRONG WITH BOSS?

My guess is that they didn't include Aux input because most users don't need it. Also: there's many simple ways to work around the lack of Aux in on a budget.

Over priced toy. Definitely not for live application. I don’t need 100’s of effects just a small amount that are very effective.
