I still use that equipment that is 40 plus years old and it still gets the job done. Even without computers and fancy electronics. Back when this equipment came out We thought We had the world by the tail.

I still have a 1961 farmall 460 diesel I use around the property. Runs like a sewing machine. (Once it’s warmed up)

You have no idea the memories and pleasure that this video brought back to me! I farmed with my father on our Homestead until 1989, when I thought it would be a bright idea to go drive a transport LOL, I used to watch the big trucks go past the farm, then I ended up watching the Farms as I drove past in a transport, thanks for the video because a lot of the equipment you used is what we used, thanks again

Thank You, The young farmers today have no idea that at one time this old equipment was the new top of the line and it will do just as good job today just takes a little longer

That's a good story .when I was young I hated grinding feed and hauling manure. After trucking awhile grinding feed and hauling manure is alright provided that a person can make a living.

I believe that there is a day of reckoning coming for a lot of farmers. Guys like Larson farms has used up all the sweat equity his grandpa put into the business. and now has borrowed and leveraged against it.

Your right. These younger You Tubers only got started because of there fathers or grandfathers. They did not earn it on there own but come off as if its all theres.

I can only imagine how big those loans are 😬.

@@MFKR696 yea that does surprise me. All the equipment I farm with except for one thing is older than me lol. But it is paid off and is as reliable as the time I put in them over winter.

@@wayoutwestranch2987 The only thing they had to start up was the equity flow they got from their fathers and grandfathers.
