Thank you Larry for showing us the Malaysia's car culture, many of which I am only now aware of. I am beginning to understand the quiet yet strong demand for old rear-wheel driven cars that is presently on-going. That Mark II at 12.08 sure bumps up my heartbeat.

Jun san was remembering the bosozoku call they put a motorcycle throttle on their cars to mimics the bosozoku motorcycle revving and also they forgot to put another detail which is the musical horns🥰

I have the Inno64 replica of that hakotora. Among my 1,500+ diecast car collection, it's still in my top 10 models.

I'm curious what you mean by best. I don't know if you mean build quality, design appeal, fun to drive, reliable, fastest or something else. I personally love Japanese cars from the 70s 80s and 90s
@cactuscomposites27 күн бұрын
@HaHaThatIsFunny all of the above. Maybe it is the appeal of not being common in the USA. Now it is becoming more common. I think it is purely human nature to want things we can't have or don't see. Just like they like USDM cars that we see daily lol.
@HaHaThatIsFunny27 күн бұрын
@cactuscomposites I enjoy seeing rare cars, no matter who made them or what time period they're from. I was much more excited to see a Mitsubishi kei truck last week than the ridiculously expensive but ubiquitous cars I see daily

A mass produced car would never compare to a handcrafted Italian car, but will all aspects considered, I would say Germany before 1970s, and then Japan. And now China is leading in term of EVs.

In Japan purple patlites are used for the public when they are stopped on the roadside for emergencies only. Kaido racer peeps took those and run them the entire time. In Malaysia you arent allowed to run red or blue lights so purple patlites are legal
@Andy.Kobayashi26 күн бұрын
To grab attention. Flashball make your car flashier. Red & blue are illegal in almost every country (the colours imitate police, ambulance and firefighter.. a pretty serious road offence) in the world so the japanese back then made the purple beacon light a.k.a Flashball. Now it became one of the symbol for kaido racer and 80s shakotan along with Pioneer TS-X series backlit speakers, small metal bucket on the rear tow hook, removed headrest and many more
