Old School Vintage Drag Racing

A group of Vintage Drag Racers came to a Friday Night Test and Tune at my local small town drag strip (Wisconsin International Raceway). It was a blast to see these old cars banging gears and tearing down the 1/4 Mile Drag Strip like cars use to back in the day. I hope you enjoyed the video as much as I did making it.

I had two 66 Chevelles,a smallbock 210 2 dr post, & a Big block SS 4spd 4.56 gears with 2 x4bbl carbs, both street driven

@donedwards3811 , I got three 66 Chevelle cars 2 are 138 Super Sport and 1 is a Malibu The 2 Super Sport cars are both built 327s /600hp with M-21 Muncie 4 speeds and 12 bolt posi The Malibu has a 71 small block 350LT1 4 bolt main , 11 inch clutch and 4 speed trans and 10 bolt rear

@@tomeighty It was a red 2 door Chevelle Malibu with the inline 6 cylinder and automatic transmission. I loved that car and she looked funny driving it cause she was about 4ft. 10 inches ! Hahahaaa

I always say that everyone will crowd around the 800hp supercharged Dodge Hellcat thing and listen to it purr. But when i fire up my 850hp big block 1968 Corvette there will not be a soul facing the Hellcat anymore. Nothing beats the sound of a real engine.

1/24 model black with flames over the front tilt hood sporting a 427 dual qual through a 4 speed with a scatter shield back to Dana 60 on a ladder bars and 50 series wide tires and slots and the fronts hanging on leafs springs. ! Awesome scale model to build. !

I love car guys that aren't.. can you imagine not knowing the difference between a 58 Chevy Belair and a Caddy ??????????????????? Or how about the guy who shows up with his 66 Chevelle who had the Ray Charles autobody paint his car with paint codes as far apart as New york is to California ...Oh and EVERY Motorhead I ever knew knows the Chevelles try to push the right rear bumper to the ground so we installed an Airbag in the right rear spring ..
