Old Scout Pocket Knife Restoration. Rusty Knife with Broken Compass

Old rusty scout pocket knife with broken compass restoration. I found this pocket knife at an antique store. I liked this knife and decided to restore it. I don't know when this knife was made. Maybe in the 1950s-1970s. The knife is made in the USA. I removed the rust and fixed the broken compass. I hope you liked my restoration.

I recently purchased a similar old BS knife that needed a bit of TLC, but it had no compass. I did not do a disassembly, but did clean and sharpen the instruments that came with it, the blade, an awl, a can opener, and the pop bottle opener with flat blade screw driver, as well as the bolsters and scales. It was then oiled lightly, and stored in an old style pipe tobacco tin, with fishing kit and fire start kit. Now stored in my SUV glove box in case I ever need it!

Даже и не знаю, что поставить - лайк или дизлайк... С одной стороны, аккуратно разобрал, почистил и собрал (даже не поменяв, хвала небесам, накладок). С другой, из-за слишком большого старания с наждаком и полиролью нож, которому около 100 лет, утратил коллекционную ценность.
