Hello my dear friends.
I am happy to share a new work from my workshop with you. This time, our story is about a vintage folding pocket knife.
I would like to thank my carpenter friend who shared this with me. This knife is his carpenter grandfather's knife.
In each of my videos, I deal with each scene I present to you separately and in great detail. I can't say it's okay until I reach the perspective and aesthetic that appeals to my eyes for each scene.
Your comments make me very happy. Craft, aesthetics, perception, perspective, dimensions, distances... We have a lot in common with you.
I am very happy to be able to convey my feelings to you.

As always, I prioritized functionality, but I did not give up on aesthetic approaches.
I decided on aesthetic and beauty elements during work as usual.
As you know, I love the marks of time on antique objects, especially on metal.
For this restoration project, I didn't do a high finishing that would spoil the antique look. I even did some work to strengthen this old and craft look.
I am very happy to work and present something to you, I hope you will share this pleasure with me while watching.

Another masterfully crafted work my friend. I love the texturing that was put on the brass base, that added a lot of charm to this piece. The handle restoration was done very well; I enjoyed the detail you put into perfecting the wood to be free from cracks with the epoxy sawdust. If I were to have any suggestion it would be that it may have been better to make new blades from scratch, a much longer and harder process, but the results would have been great and really fun to watch. A pleasure to see Joyball at 21:29 😸such a hard worker. It has been an amazing six months of membership so far; you never disappoint with such beautiful videos.
