@TheBizzyBScience I stand by it. I used that constantly on my tunes. BTW one of my favorite jungle tunes is Kenny Ken's remix of The Stopper and DJ Ron's MO Musik, the African Chant Mix. I guess that's two favorites haha

Interesting to see you used the MIc input on the S950, this is why it came out so hot in the recording, as the sensitivity is much higher using that input. The line input would have got you a cleaner sound, without as much over the top crunch. Either way, the bass sounded PHAT, so use whatever works!

Brilliant video and love that tune. Earlier i was listening to a lot of your older tunes from 1993. It still baffles me how you made them back then, they sound so heavy, the breaks, the bass. When i compare my own breaks to yours, they just sound thinner, and thats without me taking any low end from them. On the desk did you turn up the bass on the breaks back then, or did you run everything through and eq or compressor, or some magic device you're not telling us about😂. Not sure if you have any videos about how you done it, but maybe a future video. Keep up the great work.

5:50 oh! You have that high pitched whine in the background of that bass sound. I always get this when recording bass with my Akai sampler too. I was wondering what that was and whether it was just my unit. Is it aliasing? Do all your bass sounds have this whine behind it? I guess the distorted bass wouldn't have this, because it is so loud and full of midrange saturation, but clean sub tones, do they have this whine present for you?

Nice one for the video Bizzy, Been trying to migrate from Skale to Renoise... Coming from a tracker its pretty straight forward apart from a few areas of the interface. My only gripe is the tiny user interface text size, It kills my old eyes lol BIg up!

Brother, I have been looking for a tracker like this since the old days. I cant believe I just found it. Thanks man. Just spent 2 hours playing and remembering how we used to do it. Whats mad is working like this creates such a different flow when making Jungle rather than when I use Cubase. Damn bro you have made my day! do you have a referal link cuz Im buying this baby.
