I went to the 25th anniv SAAC show in Mass. met Mr Shelby, shook his hand, got his autograph, later he almost ran me over in his golf cart...twice. he laughed loudly, then said "ill get ya yet!" "It would be my honor" I said lol. Showed my 86 competition prep SVO... what a show! RIP Mr Shelby... there will never be anyone like him.

Great footage of CSX 3167 ,the ex John Woolfe Cobra, I remember seeing this car at Goodwood about 12 years ago when it was for sale.

That seatbelt on that Cobra is going to kill the driver if he is in a collision. When it locks and his body tries to move forward, the force will all go straight down his spine, crushing every vertebrae it can. Completely incorrectly installed. :-(

David Buschhorn....yeah well, the steering wheel is located on the wrong side of the car here as well, so of course the belts would be installed incorrectly.....

That's not a real cobra. Shelby cobras were right hand not left hand. The pipes should come out the side not the back only racing 427 came with dual exhaust. The 289 would out run the 427 Do to the fact of weight. The production ended in 66 not 67 Shelby keep the 350 and 500 going.
