I got some giant foam tubes from work that protected glass panels in shipping. Like industrial pool noodles. I put them under the kayak, on top of 4x4 boards at the 1/3 and 2/3 lines on the kayak. I store it upright with the pedal drive in the up position. I'll have to cut a board to jam behind the seat.

Nick I called customer support and they said it was super fine to leave it on my trailer. That said I have 5’ long 4” pvc but I didn’t tell them that

I’ve left kayaks on the trailer for long periods of time with PVC without issues. But I don’t live in the coldest climate.
