I had the same problem with my 2000! It’s a 1972 year model. I think it had the original gas tank on it!! I took the tank off, “not fun” actually got a video on my channel about how I removed the tank,and took it to a radiator shop. They clean the tank, then coated the inside. That was 2 years ago. No problems since then.

I moved to Florida years ago, and the only time of year I miss anything north of the Mason-Dixon is Autumn. I know it's still far below the line, but for years, I've traveled as far north as N.C. or Kentucky to get my "fall foliage fix," But this year, with the hurricanes, I'm stuck in this long Florida summer still in November! (Yeah, I know, I see everyone crying croc tears for me!) Thanks for providing my "fix" this year; just looking at your farm's color and watching you drive through the woods (I can even smell the leaves!) seems to work.

Great job getting that tractor running again! Best wishes.

I still think the tractor was a good buy, especially since you can fix it your self, and the computers were minimized! Thanks for the video!

There is supposed to be a strainer on top of that cut off valve that would help you a lot .

JOSH, Was wondering why when ya had that fitting apart that ya didn't squirt some brake clean or carb cleaner thru it first before reassembly? I hope that ya got it all clean so you won't have to repeat that process.
@StoneyRidgeFarmer3 сағат бұрын
get ready.....because it sure enough clogged again just yesterday! I have the permanent fix now....you know what's sad is that I'm not sure the injection pump was bad after looking at all this! Grrrr

Hey those newer fords might be different but my older ford 4000 has a screen that goes up in the tank into that cut off valve. You might want to look into that and it’ll keep the valve from getting clogged up like that when there’s just a little trash in the tank
@lawsonlawnandfarm80734 сағат бұрын
Well nevermind you already know that lol. I commented before watching the whole video! 😂

glad ya stuck around to the end! Coming soon we'll install the proper filter in there!
@charleswise55703 сағат бұрын
Josh, I think some of that " goop", is probably floating in the fuel tank every time you put more fuel in. I would get that fuel filter you were mentioning. Maybe try getting the rest of your tank cleaned out, if that's doable.
@StoneyRidgeFarmer2 сағат бұрын
I know...the fuel filter is on its way!
@charleswise55702 сағат бұрын
@StoneyRidgeFarmer Josh, do you use a filter for your diesel, as it's going in your tank? At my job, we use off road diesel, and learned the hard way, why it necessary to filter that fuel.
@StoneyRidgeFarmerСағат бұрын
off road or on road, for sure I filter it and put Diesel power service in mine...however this was a purchase from a neighbor who didn't do their due diligence ...more to come on this little tractor....it quit on me again yesterday!
