The old tds does give nostalgic feeling and have the things we enjoyed back then, I miss em, especially the concept of Platinum skins Still, at least tds' quality improved over the last few years, it's peak view of its evolution, comparing the old and new

It isn’t because of the current gen of animations, skins, and tower reworks that people miss the old tds it’s because of what made the game fun in the first place where you didn’t have to spend robux for what you wanted, when you got an event tower you could actually use it, the difficulty was challenging but wasn’t almost impossible, pvp being a thing where you could challenge other people’s strats to their absolute limit, skins being a lot easier to obtain, being able to find a lot of easter eggs around every newer lobby maps, etc.

Based on what lol old tds was actually more balanced The most expensive tower was outlaw cost 4750, 2k in game while being absolutely overpowered

@@JJustRandomGuydesigns of 2019 tds were simple and not as good as today's ones. There was a lack of modes and cosmetics and it had way less progression then the nowadays version.

Old accelerator was literally to stiff basicly no animation the beam is bad the old accel was just a human. Beam turret which has recoil

The animations are overall more clean and fresh, but I despise the laser. Prior the of the rework, the laser looked so much better

NOTHING of old minigunner was "badass" I always found the design kind of a blue version of commando if he was a minigunner I know quite a bit of towers have futuristic looks but old minigunners had a really big head piece bad animations and felt pretty random this is why nobody every likes default minigunner skin than he's other skins because default minigunner is an eyesore to looks atyeah that's still true today but if you ask like half of the tds discord or smth they will say minigunners rework was definitely better than old minigunner and that's a fact
