I love watching you. I did many signs when I was younger. 15 years old . I'm getting back into it. 46 years old now. I'm going to do a few address signs first. I was wondering why you jump around the piece so much lifting router off? Is it to see better? I think it would increase your chances of making a mistake. I ordered your plexiglass baseplate. I was going to make my own but I thought why not help out a person that inspired me to get back to making signs...THANK YOU....

For bigger routers I like the Porter Cable 690LR or the Dewalt 618. I used it on this video as well. For bits we use we have them all on our website makeawoodsign.com under "Sign Carving Supplies". As far as sharpening them we have several videos on how to do that. Check out our video #164, dad did a get job on that one.
