Thanks Richard. I love this venue which is very picturesque. Harley scored with that box of bulbs and you as well. I may have to look through my garage again as Harley got some nice larger oiling cans. Have to keep up with the bits and bobs!

Wonderful presentation with beautiful clear photography. My favourites would include the 1934 Buick (not really rare in Australia during the 1940s and 1950s), the white Mark 9 Jaguar, the Humber Super Snipe, and the magnificent 1949 Cadillac Fleetwood.

Holy Cow....I was looking at the Corvette Stingrays at 12:28 and what should appear at 12:30 but a gold 1989 Chrysler New Yorker!! Of all the American cars to own, an "M" body Chrysler no less. Amazing to see one in such good condition in the UK let alone here in the homeland of the marque when it was new.

That Humber Super Snipe caught my eye, what a beautiful car. Another well produced video of cars as far as the eye can see. Well done.😊

Another great vid, seeing that Silver MK3 Zodiac early on reminded me how many owners of these big Fords used to paint the rear panel between the chrome trims Red to emulate the later MK4 cars full width rear lamp effect. As usual you found some real gems including the Two Princess wedges and the 3.4 Jag. It’s great to see the mint cars but sometimes it’s the sheer rarity of the cars at these shows which makes your vids so great to watch. Great job 👏

I was there too. Was a great day but always takes me ages to go through the footage. The red TT was leaving just as I got there really and spotted them in one of your older Capesthorne vlogs I think. The red Esprit was probably one of my favourites of the show.

WOW Rick, what a video ! HUGE line up and something for everyone there. I'm with you - the Humber Super Snipe or the Saab 99 Turbo would be my 'take home' cars from that lot - one day when I win the Lottery ! One thing I wish is that people would not put on after market wheels - personally, I prefer a car to be in original guise. Thanks for sharing. Take care 🙂

You caught my Mazda MX6 arriving. You are quite right, you don't see many of them about these days. Last time I checked there where just 67 still registered at the DVLA as being on the road and around 100 SORNED. Owned from new, it has just 38k on it and is completely original.

Capesthorne Hall used to hold a kit car show, I think (as far as I can recall) it was the only kit car show they ever held, which was in 2004. I remember seeing a Challenger E-Type replica there as well as a D Type replica (though no idea if it was a Realm D Type), plus lots of Caterham/Lotus 7 type kit cars, a Jag XK140 kit car as well, plus a few classic cars. I wonder why they have never held this kit car show since?.

1:13:25 - BMW: That “paint “ is a “Rhino-Line” type coating. Here in Florida, this coating is not only used for the beds of Pickup trucks, but whole vehicles, especially raised up 4x4 trucks. The coating is rock hard. Prevents scratches, and rust. [ and just about anything else.] 📻🙂

There is something very appealing about a 4 seater convertible I have always fancied one to be honest. While I understand why the Hump Of Doom is there I would have thought that for a show such as this they would somehow try to minimise it for the event such as a gently sloped temporary ramp. That Humber Super Snipe is truly a magnificent car.A lot of work pulling these videos together. My favourite has to be the yellow RR Silver Shadow II, I can definitely see myself in that, followed by the Jag MKIX. Each and every one of these cars is someones pride and joy.

Your I Spy lists a Morgan 4/4 Series ii. I have a series V ?? Points.
At 32:07, are open wheels allowed on nowadays? I was always under the impression wheels /tyres had to be covered by a mud guard in Britain.

I know many cars have quick release guards for the road, similar to those used on competition cars that are driven to/from hillclimbs etc, so that could be the case with car(s) in the video

My Father owns the Morris 8 Tourer along with a 2 door Morris 8 Saloon that was featured on a previous video at the Avro Heritage Museum :). The saloon is a 1934 model and the tourer is a 1936 model. I also own the Clove Brown Austin Mini Mayfair that was featured on a video at Capesthorne Hall last year and is in the back of a few shots in this video. It has been in the family since 2003 and I have owned it since 2010, truly my forever car. Thank you for the brilliant videos!

Hi, I owned the Morris 8 Tourer CYU 140 until summer of 2016 so your Dad probably bought it from me unless there has been another owner in between times. I bought it specifically to take my Dad out in as he had always fancied one. I upgraded the engine to Series E along with a 4-speed gearbox which made it a much better drive. I hope your Dad is enjoying it. Best wishes, Alan

So many vehicles to like, love the Goldfinger Rolls as you say 😂 Take home for me has to be 1st, the stunning Humber Super Snipe lV, 2nd, Toyota Crown Coupe, and 3rd the humble and cute Hillman Minx Phase Vl convertible. Some lovely original looking cars, but some owners fit non spec wheels which is totally out of character. To me it just ruins the look of the car. Each to their own taste I suppose. Obviously they have bad taste, and I say that with love in my voice 😂 Another enjoyable video, thank you, but looking forward to another street scene car video from yesteryear.

Most shows tend to allow entry to cars from anywhere, it's usually more down to age rather than country of origin. There are US-specific shows already, in addition to these shows with a broader acceptance criteria. Thanks for watching.
