I have a 1930's Craftsman house. On line I found a green/cream stove, marbled feet, it has art-deco markings on it. It was in St. Paul, MN, went out of state to get it. Paid $100. I was on a roll, had to get a porcelain enamel table & 4 chairs, $100 took 8 mos to find it in Winona, MN, another 2 mos to find my 1935 Frigidaire $100, in WI. I already have a authentic Hoosier cabinet for $450. Everyone loves my kitchen and says it's a step back in time!

Scott, I had a cream & green gas stove from the ?30s for several yrs when I lived in Philly near the old Medical College of Pa. hospital. I used it as a piece of furniture & I even brought it to my apt. here in Lancaster county & used it in the same way. It was in beautiful condition; very clean. I even had all the parts of the burners. It had one owner before me & came from a Jersey shore home. If I still had it, I would give it to you. But I donated it to a young couple from church who were redoing their home with antiques. I loved it & always admired the beauty of it. Somewhere I have a picture.

I so agree about funeral costs. I’ll be gone and none of that matters. Have a party with that money and order extra desserts. I’ll be in a heavenly place and it won’t matter to me!! Thank you for the beautiful ride through the countryside. I enjoy your personality and so enjoy your choices in music.

Love your thrifting and antiquing trips with Vinny. Comforting to watch on a cold day. That old oil burning stove is neat. My grandmother had one, but it was no longer being used in my living memory. It had been moved out to the screened in porch after she got an electric stove. They burned kerosene, but my grandmother called it the coal oil stove. My mother said the whole house smelled like burning kerosene when it was in use!

Oooooohhhhhhhhhhh, that stove! That was one fancy Doll😉 they sure put a lot of beauty into household items back in the day. Keep looking ,you will find what you are meant to find , I found a 1940s perfection stove that someone had taken out of his Mothers home in the Midwest drove it cross country and parked the van it was in for 25 years before he decided he needed to sell it! I just lucked out on spotting it in an ad for yard sale👍❤🙏

The cranberry enameled bowl is English Hand Blown Glass made by Stevens & Williams. The feet are designed after thorn branches. That bowl would be valued about $150.00 to $200.00. They didn't make a large quantity of the footed bowls. S&W was mostly known for their beautiful epergnes, floral vases and brides bowls.
