Thanks, Nick. This is the best demo of this pedal I’ve seen. I’m off right now to put it through its paces on the Spread stereo function

Ah wow high praise indeed THANKYOU kind sir. How are you getting with it?

This is brilliant Nick, really concise explanation of a wonderful, yet potentially bamboozling pedal. I enjoyed the microlooping section and also when you compared the MK1 and mkII sounds. Great stuff.

Great video, Nick! Thanks for posting. I'm still getting my mind around the microlooping functionality but it's pretty awesome.

I've been putting off upgrading to the MK2 because I could'nt see myself using it in stereo on my current board setup but these secondary modes and improvements have me rethinking! Great video Nick.

Hey Ollie thanks for stopping by. I’m planning a video on this very topic of whether to upgrade what else could I do in that video to help you decide?

Great overview of some of MOOD II’s best features! Personally, my absolute favorite is No Dub mode. I love using it with drum machines and synths to create really unique delay and stutter effects with amazing stereo imaging. I also like to use the tape mode in No Dub when using Mood with guitar to get an octave-down and reversed real-time effect - I actually prefer it to Slip mode most of the time, though I use that too!

I haven't used No DUB can you tell me more?

@@nickreesyt it’s awesome - it’s basically the same effect as turning microlooper fade time down to zero. Green microloop playback stays normal, but when you engage overdubbing, it acts like a live effect that keeps changing with your input signal. With the clock all the way up, the effects are pretty close to real-time, and they become more like delay versions of each mode the lower clock goes. My favorite is probably tape mode with modify turned one tick to the left for octave-down reverse stuff, and also bouncing that modify knob so the real-time glitches/stutters change octave and go backwards and forwards. Pretty cool with stretch mode too, to get that hard panning motion going but following your input signal with no fixed loop. I basically leave the wet channel on reverb mode most of the time since I prefer the No Dub effects to the Wet channel’s slip and delay modes!

Wow, you got me interested in this one although my bank account can't handle at this point LOL. Very nice demonstration of your use. Part 4 and 5 are super cool features/capabilities I wasn't aware of. You mentioned this has one of your favorite stereo images, now I know why. It is not the space size is about the atmosphere it creates. Stereo Image wise I think there is nothing like the Polymoon and LVX, not even the Big Sky... at least to my ears.

You mention some great pedals, in fact some of my favourites ever! The stereo imaging on mood 2 is very purposeful and pronounce and you can shape it with dip switches too.. It sounds great
