I buy lot's of foods i don't like all the time,to see if I can adjust,mixing them with other things,I hated blue cheese and I love it now,did you know your taste buds change every 7yrs, so you will like some different and dislike 👎 what you use to like 👍, I'm liking tomatoes now yippee.

@@thomasthecrankengine the only food taste thats changed for me is chocolate, that now tastes like crap, but only because they changed the recipes. Blue cheese tasted like puke when i was a kid, it still does.

I buy a gammon joint cook it in air fryer slice it put it in portions and freeze it . Take it out as I want it much better ham works out cheaper than that thin sweaty stuff much better especially for plowman

I've got Aldi's Fig & Balsamic Chutney..it is gorgeous. I might try the others.

The texture of cold lumps of Stilton, to my mind is not the most appealing.Stilton cheese, will keep for ages, wrapped in the freezer, to use, grate it whilst still frozen, put it any recipie that might use mature grated cheddar, melted, great for an intense, cheese flavour, a little will go a long way. A very simple dish would be stirring it, after grating, into hot mash potato. I agree with others that have mentioned Broccoli and Stilton Soup, too, yum

Should have tried the Stilton with a grape, I think it's delicious. Trouble is I eat too much of it! All in all Keith it looked delicious, beautifully presented as well!

Big selection of Chutney! Tip though, use a greener Apple as it is more tart which is an element of balance in a ploughman's. ✌️

We had more or less of a ploughman's for our dinner / lunch, but we had a nice cooked chicken instead of ham ,the other half of the chicken will do us tomorrow too, dont know about you but i enjoy a bag of crisps with mine., xx

I love a pork pie, but put off when the meat looks a grey colour instead of pink, my local deli does a beautiful home made pork pie but I wonder if there is any additives in to keep the pork pink.

Cheap pork pie will have the grey meat. The better the quality and the higher the pork content , the pinker the meat

The pink are definitely better. They used to be called Yorkshire pork pie in Morrisons. Then they stopped selling them...😠

Yummy, have you tried making any recipies with that blue cheese. It makes lovely cheese sauce. There are some really nice recipies with blue cheese. Personally I love it. Ha Ha, I had a salad for my tea this evening! I made some honey & mustard dressing for my salad, some cold cuts of meat, beetroot and I had some hot boiled new potatoes with it 😋. Stilton blue cheese is lovely! Don't waste it; make some broccolli and stilton soup with it. I bet you will enjoy it that way. Poundland do a large tray of off-cuts of ham. It's really thick slices as well - only £2!!

You are exceptional Keith. Truly. That is the greatest ploughman's platter I have ever seen. You will never ever see that in any pub or hotel in the entire UK. You have created a wonderful platter for God's mate. Your absolutely creative and excellent in your presentation. Well done. Try using 3 cheeses. Blue, cheddar, smoked ? Loved the chutney idea great idea. Apples great. Pears too with blue cheese. You created a feast for kings . Excellent job Keith. 👍👍👍
