I like the way your pissy mood done got Yoyoka'd - took about 30 seconds for the Yoyoka Grin to plaster your face followed by the Yoyoka tears in your eyes. Welcome to the affliction. Today she can actually reach her cymbals (this clip is a few years old) and is losing the freshness of it all but hey, that's the way this short trip works. When she is burned out - at like 15 she can watch these and remember what it was like to have fun first. 🥁🎶

I follow Yoyoka since that, and what I really like is that ... she still act like a little girl when she's not drumming! A very smart little girl, but a real kid, not one of those already old genius. But when she's playing, she is music, she feels and understand it as if it was printed in her since birth.

She's just fantastic! Obviously has musical parents who've indulged her. Also just watched her cover of YYZ. Lot more serious concentration on her face now, several years on since the Led Zepplin cover. For how natural her playing was like John Bonham's with a lot of slop and play, it's amazing how she nails Neil Pearts surgical precision! She's gotta feel like Yuri Gagarin right now. There is nowhere for her to go but new territory!

When Yoyoka recorded this she was still 8 going on 9. She will soon be 11 and is learning to speak English also. You could react to Miumiu Guitargirl; she’s only 6 and sings in Chinese and English.

But she broke her hand), on big stage with Cyndi Lauper, on huge festival stage with FalloutBoy, had legends join Her gigs including Char, she was flown to LA to endorse Pearl drums (jammed with Carmine Appice, who’d been Char’s drummer), twice flown to be on LA’s Ellen (tv show), flown to NYC to be Moncler brand ambassador (another one is Will Smith), few other brands incl Nike, backing band for big fashion shows etc, now ambassador for the city of Sapporo on Hokkaido, kudos from rage against the machine, Dave grohl, & more. I am glad you got to Yoyoka, she has been playing drums since before she can remember. When she was very little, the drummer in her fathers band would sit her on his knee,put the sticks in her hands and play by holding her arms. Music to her is all about having fun, as it should be. Not true about a guitar shop. Copyright only applies to using the original. Any band or person can play ANYTHING live!! They just can't record it.
