The first verse reminds me heavily of Slipknot Psychosocial. I dig this song, melody, lyrics and arrangement. Tatiana was placed great in this collab. She ramped the song and energy up starting with her leading the second verse with her unmatched Growls and intensity. Then her soothing and beautiful cleans. No offence to Christian but, Tatiana vocally is in her own league. Plus, that 5'3" thermonuclear weapon simply overshadows those bigger dudes next to her during a performance. 💙💛 🙏

i wish tati's cleans 6:31 part wasnt cut off midway (although i do like his cleans too), and that you could hear her backup layers louder behind his voice. that is such a different sound from her, the softest ive heard. its very fitting to the song but also very seductive. compared to her lower raspier cleans at 7:23

The Jinjer Fan Club Facebook page gets occasional updates. I've seen updates for all of them except Eugene in the last couple of days (pic of Roman in a cafe using his phone). Kyiv is getting hit with missile attacks still but the front is mostly in the East where they are from. The bad news is that because of that the Donensk area (where they are from) is a total shambles. Far worse than 2014. Most towns look like Joplin Missouri after their tornado or worse. Alex has left Suicide Silence. I think they wanted to go on tour and he didn't want to leave Tati trying to keep her busy.

I feel like you about them and their families and the country.. I was totally looking forward to seeing them this summer but they are doing what they need to do for their country. Hey Oldskule, great reaction! Thanks for doing this. As awesome as Tati's collab with Decapitated is, for my money, when you bring in the vocal goddess this is what you want. She takes an already great song and raises it 2000%. Thanks also for what you said, I also am holding my breath and praying everyday we'll see Jinjer all safe and back together where they belong.

I'm right with you. Its comforting seeing those quick updates from members of Jinjer on social media. The whole situation is surreal after meeting the band just a few short months ago where the vibe was nothing but positive and upbeat. They had everything in front of them too with a successful US tour in the books and then another round of touring with Slipknot this spring that would have, for sure, upped their profile even more. It's good to hear they are all OK but, like you said, until we see them all together again, you can't shake the feeling of helplessness and angst. By the way, love the song here and enjoyed your reaction.

Lions at the Gate, this is better than 90 percent of what's coming out for metal these days. Add in Tatiana and that's like 99 percent. On the subject of that god-damned war...I see Mariupol leveled and I want to cry. And it's not my country not my neighbors not my relatives. I can't imagine how it must be to be here and safe, but worrying for you and yours. Great reaction and never apologize for being emotional about something that matters.(You really should check out Lena's Borderlines w/ Death Dealer Union. It hits some of the same bases)

I share your sentiments about holding my breath until this is all over and the four of them can be reunited. After years and years of struggling, they finally hit a stride and were gaining real traction. Eugene just moved and had a party at his new place a week before everything started in Feb. Tati did these collabs months ago, but has been pretty quiet on Instagram since this all began. Alex said something early on about how she's been a wreck as you'd imagine, but thanks everyone for their thoughts. Alex tracked the vocals for the last collab she did, not sure about this one. He just quit Suicide Silence a few days ago, so maybe something else is on the back burner for the two of them...maybe.

Those who have worn the uniform, I find, know a little more about the machinations of war. It's a legitimate reaction, and I think Lions at the Gate understand that they have put out a meaningful song. So, many people are holding out hope for Ukraine and Jinjer right now.

Had to pause at 6:12. Here's the difference between a pro, and... other. Listening to his part first, he gad to layer his voice to get some form of impact, even on his clean vocsls . Great Statement! Jinjer rules imo. And Tatjana Shmayluk finds the time to suport other bands. Great Song! born in 1970, politically I woke up in 82. Back in time there were the northern Ireland conflict, israel(still today) the RAF in (Rote Armee Fraktion in Germany, depicted in Rammsteins "Deutschland"), the war (british) Falkland Islands, Never mind Africas bad ethnic wars, U.S.A. ´s wars for ressources (still the states of the northern and southern continent of america are more devided than united) ... Europe (not a country, a Union ;-)) some conflicts in the balkan region... , sorry, if I have forget one or the other worldwide. And now we have Russia vs. Ukraine. Russia vs. Europe. People wake up. Get out of your comfort Zone. Ask your selve, if you want war. If so, go on and get shot (hopefully). If not, elect your goverment wisely. In germany we (sorry, not all) learned that lesson. Nie wieder soll ein Krieg von Deutschland ausgehen. Das haben wir immerhin bis jetzt geschafft.
