This podcast is incredible. What a dynamic duo. I have passed this on to other vets. 23 hardcore combat warriors. We found our service dogs.

Excellent work. I keep trying other channels and I always wind up back here. Criminally underrated channel along with Infamous America. I hope that one day you guys cover some of the stories around the Civil War. Hearing this level of detail about a battle or pivotal moment in that era would have me over the moon. And for what it's worth, I think it's BS that the group exiled Reed. The dude assaulted him AND his wife, to the point of drawing blood. Even these days that is cause for swift and decisive action by any means available. Perhaps it was Reeds past history and notoriety within the group that pushed them to that kind of strict retribution. Maybe if he were a good man, they would have let the killing slide.

Read might have been an asshole, but I think he was justified in killing Schneider

At first I thought that the narrator said the "Donna Reed Party" but then I remembered that this was about the Donner Party.

Yeah, I wonder if Donna Reed was a distant relative.

@@VelveteenRabbitinRedFern She would have been a very distant relative to avoid being eaten.

I suggest judging the actions of people 175 years ago as harsh is ignorant especially in light of today's disorder

I heard somewhere else that an old man was banished because he became too much of a burden so they just left him. Also that the a group of Indians killed their live stock with poison arrows.
