I think reason why some people have trouble with difficulty in Serious Sam is because it's not a twitch shooter, to survive you need strategy and good spatial awareness. You just can't kill fast enough, fights normally end in melee with dozen or dozens of enemies at once. You need spatial awareness to track enemies around, prioritize them, while avoiding constant attacks from multiple directions. This is why all enemies make sounds constantly, to help you track them.
@theindestructibleone4833 жыл бұрын
This all sounds crazy and impossible until you actually do it lol, it becomes natural at some point and that's when you have the most fun just running around dodging attacks and attacking, it's great

The Next Encounter for GameCube is seriously under-rated. You can get it working perfectly fine on Dolphin, the PS2 version is just a straight out downgrade of the GCN one. Fun fact, the pump shotgun, Sam doesn't actually pump the shotgun, it just plays the sound of it, I think the HD version also has this issue. Now you will never unsee this. Another fun fact, the Alpha of Serious Sam TFE can be downloaded and played perfectly fine and it's nearly different. It has WAYYYY more levels, enemies, weapons, etc that are not in the final game, nor in the franchise to this day. Framerater is the biggest Serious Sam YTuber.
