Fury had the height advantage, the weight advantage, the reach advantage. He had the boxing establishment on his side. At the press conference it was announced that Turki was with Fury. He came to the ring with a big bushy beard and his shorts pulled up to his nipples and he still lost to the little rabbit middleweight. It’s a merry Christmas indeed!

I dont see any issues with 116 - 112. Usyk dictated the fight, landed really consistent lefts to the body the entire fight, Fury only showed moments of aggression and control. Usyk outworked Fury consistently. Almost every round you could even try to give to Fury has a real argument to go Usyks way. The reverse isnt true.

I’m the Former Manager and co Trainer of Nigel Benn and l Scored the fight 116-113 to Usyk and l gave the first round a draw so if l gave that to Usyk which l was going to if l gave it to anyone then my card would also have been 116-112 sane as the 3 judges. Also 3 judges all with the same cards tell me it was fair result. Forget all these armchair score cards the judges were spot on.👍

Part of the issue is that people are watching a fight with all the excitement that goes along with that and they judge it on how it felt. Analysing a boxing bout and scoring it round by round is a completely different endeavour. I scored it the same as the judges. The other issue is that ‘controversy’, whether real or not, generates clicks. It’s become detrimental to the sport.

@larrysellers7891

@@Disinfo321 The first four rounds were close and close enough that a couple could be scored even. If you have a few rounds like that in a row you tend not to score them all for the same fighter as it makes you question whether you’re being biased. There’s also a tendency to score a round for a fighter if he did better in that round than the previous ones not necessarily because he won it as a stand alone round. I scored it the same as the judges but also gave Fury different rounds. What was consistent was that Usyk dominated the scorecards from round six onwards.

The thing about Usyk is I believe he fights for more than the average boxer, he fights not just for his family but for his country. I would imagine that Usyk gives hope to the people of Ukraine as superficial as that might sound. Retirement might not be as obvious for him then it would be for other boxers if they held the same great legacy and record that he does.

Does everyone forget that Fury lost to an MMA fighter and got away with it, the boxing fraternity seemed to bury that fight out of existence, embarrassing. What entries was he using that kept him clean coming in and out enough to outclass somebody ? What shots do you pretend you don’t see landing from how lead leg heavy and hunch over usyk is ? Oh that’s right you have no idea what you’re saying you don’t know any aspect of foot work or L stepping , you’re just a grown man fishing for likes in a KZbin comment section because you like to play pretend expert behind the safety of your wifi connection ..

I scored it 115-113 in favour of Usyk. Split the first 6 rounds even then had to be generous to give Fury two of the final 6 rounds. So yeah, 116-112 is definitely a viable and acceptable scorecard imo. As for Dubois antics, nobody wants to see that fight again. However, put them in there again just so Usyk can punish him for the disrespect!

I was late for the live, due to Dazn PPV buffering delaying me 15 mins. Usyk won, more comfortably than the first fight, and more so than the 2nd Joshua fight. The weight equivalent of an elite Middleweight beating a very good Cruiserweight. One fighter looked like and dictated the fight like a World Champion. Fury: never 'body beautiful,' for sure. But let's be real: too much body fat, which resulted [no surprise] in him being far too slow. There WAS a robbery last night [Allen] AND a razor thin fight [Edwards], but the main event was well scored.

I think there were a couple of rounds that were difficult to judge and probably a draw but, Usyk was the aggressor throughout the fight…he “did not leave Fury alone…!” Bottom line, the judges saw a lot that Richie Woodhall didn’t. The massive elephant in the ring many have missed is Deontay Wilder, ...for me the whole Fury Wilder trilogy over inflated Tyson Fury to some mythical status, here was a heavyweight with a huge right hand delivered at lightening speed, but that was it !!.... the reality is that Wilder has very limited boxing skills, NO jab and poor movement...but that explosive right hand always bought jeapordy..... As a youth he will have knocked people over at school, then at the boxing gyms, coming forwards blasting everybody out , a flat track bully....Fight 1 of the trilogy was absorbing drama, brilliantly marketed.....then one day Fight 2 , Fury now in his head, going front foot for once, straight across the ring walking Deontay backwards for the first time in his life !!, the bully quickly becoming the bullied, with no boxing skills to get him out the 's*it, quickly unraveling , he was done....Facts are that Fury had beaten an average fighter, limited boxing skills but a big right hand.. Fury a far superiuor boxer drew with an average one once and beat him twice..

I disagree that this was actually that close of a fight. I think you can make a case for Fury winning the 10th round but that's the only round he won after the 7th. I know that compubox isn't an exact science but if it's a super close round and you're wondering who landed more punches then look at compubox because Fury got outlanded in every round from 6 to12. He actually got outlanded in every round except the first round which was a tie. On top of that if it's a very close friend I like to look at who the aggressor is and who's fighting cleaner and that was always Usyk. You can make a case for Fury in the 10th because he did outland the power punches but not by a wide margin. I had this fight 9 rounds to 3 because I thought that Usyk did just enough to win all of those "very close" rounds. I could see giving a couple of those to Fury which would make it 7 rounds to 5 which a lot of people had. This was very clearly a win for the champion. Also it was a win that I'm sure a lot of people in boxing did not want him to have so he had to clearly win in order to get that victory. They would love to have Anthony Joshua fighting Tyson Fury for the three belts but the better man won. R.I.P. Fury always getting the nod in close fights. Also sorry for what happened to the White Rhino.

First four rounds were close. Round five was Fury’s best round. From six onwards Usyk took charge of the fight and Fury won a single round in the second half. Fury doesn’t follow a strategy and he switches up on a whim. He walked Usyk down in round five and the size and weight advantage was startling. He then reverted back to boxing against a superior boxer. Any chance he may have had was over there and then.

I was judging it as a paid off judge. Giving clear Usyk rounds to Usyk and giving every close round to Fury and I still couldnt give it to Fury. I had 7-5 Usyk.

If Fury would have not come up with excuses and gave Usyk his props, people would respect him way more, he's clearly one of the best but all this "I'll shake his hand and say he was the better man", he says before the fight just has no credibility anymore

Fair play to boxing scorecards for a change. The fight was so close so this would have been a perfect opportunity to give Fury a points win and set up a trilogy. Instead the best man won, albeit slightly wider than most had it. Usyk p4p king without a shadow of a doubt now.

I had it 115-113 but I’ll accept 116-112. Fury had good moments but even when he looked good, Usyk went on to win those rounds. Great fight from both guys though 🥊

What are these lads on about? The fight wasn't even close. Usyk yet again took Fury to school. These "fangirls" are unbelievable 😂

This trashing fury and saying hes delusional to think he won is a bunch of spastics. Vast majority of the rounds were close. So close that 116-112 is valid and so is 115-113 fury. You all love to slabber. I had usyk winning by 2. But easily could have gone to fury
