Beautiful work as always! I wonder would something like shaders from Ammo Mig be of use you as well? They are used to accentuate shadows or act as a filter or to blend colors in the world of plastic models.

The fact is that the real ships used pure colors and usually a limited number. Therefore, everything is much simpler in wooden modeling and there is no need for shaders at all...

Hello again dear Olha Is it Vallejo acryllic paint that you use? I use for my modeling Tamiya, Vallejo and Ammo Mig acryllics and washings. What kind of thinner do you use? I use IPA ( Iso Propyl Alcohol ) this is not so expensive as the thinners from the paintfactories. Greatings to you all. Gerard

Hello Gerard I only use Vallejo. This is a new world of airbrushing for me, so I bought a set of Vallejo paints to start with. I tried them on several samples and bought more blue and black paint, since I will need them here the most! Primer, thinner and paint improver - this is all I also bought Vallejo...

I was also very surprised by this pin - this is probably the only place where they are used. This trick is usually only done by professional modelers. Because the rest of the model parts were just glued on - that's what beginners do... The first layer of masking took me 6 hours))))

I wouldn't like to try it free hand myself to be honest.

Such a "firm hand" painted the model from the very beginning. With not very good quality paints so that you can see every brush stroke. One more such experiment and the model will be even more difficult to save. That's why I have to do everything perfectly, on the first try... Of course, some parts cannot be airbrushed, there I will use a brush (like in the next episode).
