The only possible conclusion is Olitz is endgame-whether in Vermont or not. The ending, though implied Olitz ended up together-was pathetic and Petty to say the least. How any of the writers agreed with it baffles me but I would not be surprised to learn they were strong armed

A lot of people weren't happy with Olivia Pope in Season 7. It kinda reminded me of the season of Once Upon A Time, when Emma became the Dark One and almost lost her humanity. This is the season where I can relate with Olivia Pope's character on a personal level. She had been through so much with Fitz, Jake, her parents, being kidnapped, the list goes on... She didn't let it break her completely, but it was like she decided to switch off the emotions. Being part of the White House through all of it changed her, made her seem more cold-hearted, uncaring, and selfish. Getting B613 didn't help, it just fueled her need to push everyone away so that she could end up alone. Maybe she thought she deserved it. I think that it was her cry for help deep-down, and she was too proud to admit it. She was going through her dark time and losing her way. There are so many scenes where you really see how much Fitz loves her enough to remind her that the real Olivia is still there. Especially when he was talking to her through the door about the first time they met. ❤️❤️❤️

I was never convinced that Olivia was a shark. Shonda tried to sell it and in doing so made Kerry look less than stellar. It would have been better to not try to tell us what Olivia is and simply let the character ebb and flow gracefully with the writing. It's called layers. Organic. Imperfect. Anti-hero.
