Hey Oliur, I’m using the 13 Pro and I think in many ways it’s the perfect phone. I’m not a fanboy of Apple or Android, I just put emphasis on quality of product and form for day to day usage and in my humble non-expert opinion, if you are inclined or able to spend the amount needed on top end devices, for consistent quality and ease of us, I think the 13 Pro is the perfect device.

I just upgraded from an 8 Plus to a 13 Pro, and after one day, I'm just over the moon with it. I used to make my living as a commercial and fine art photographer back in the analog days; I used to love the exhaustive level of craft you had to bring to it to make professional photographs. Now, this iPhone 13 is inspiring me to return to my passion for photography, although from a digital platform. No amount of tech will make a bad photographer into a better one. The images may be technically more competent, but photography is about vision and visualization, not technology. My new phone is a highly intuitive interface between my seeing and my ability produce visual art. I love it! BTW, SUBSCRIBED.

@gej2 жыл бұрын
Dont - apple chips are too powerful nowadays. even their phones from 2 years ago will still be on the top 10-20 fastest phones now. Unless you do super intensive tasks on your phone, you will have the same experience. you already have the faceID/notched screen which is the biggest improvement over the 6-8 series due to the screen/body size ratio. If you just use your phone for calls and text and casual photos/web browsing/videos/Spotify then you'll be having almost the same experience, especially with the screen. OLED is just nice to have. Unless there is something wrong with your XR, I think it will serve you well in the next 2 years. I have been from Android, switched to SE1, iP8, then now 12 mini. and experience is the same. maybe a few milliseconds of speed improvements here and there. :D the 12's design and OLED screen/size made me switch. I just loved that design and getting a bigger screen for basically the same body with the regular 8.
@daffo11792 жыл бұрын
I must agree with gej. The only big difference is the battery life, screen and cameras. The cameras on the 13 Pro are more than you need. It’s probably not as good as you camera tho, but it comes more handy. The performance isn’t also a big factor. The chip inside that Xr is decently powerful. The only big difference is the screen. If you have an iPad, you most likely have a LCD/Mini LED display, which is comparable to the the LCD you have on your iPhone. OLED is nice to have and the same thing goes with 120hz. Definitely not a must for everyone.

I've had my iPhone XR since 2019, so I'm tempted to upgrade. Especially since last week, when my phone spazzed up and I had to do a full reset to fix it. Idk if that's a sign. I upgraded to the 13 pro max from the 7 plus. Best choice ever! I love this phone and also consider it a camera with a phone instead of the other way around lol (also have an A7C lol). I recently used the 13 pro max on a professional shoot with my production company, was using it to make professional looking tiktoks for the client. Also invested into the Moment ecosystem and have most of their lenses, thus taking the phone even further in terms of quality and professionalism. It’s now my main vlogging camera. I keep a small bag with me at all times so all of my mobile vlogging gear fits in it and I take it everywhere I go.
@adityanilangekar11662 жыл бұрын
What other vlogging gear do you use?
@biohazard20302 жыл бұрын
@@adityanilangekar1166 I use the Moment lenses (18mm, fisheye, 58mm, and both anamorphic lenses), I have a variable ND filter for bright sunny conditions and the moment filter mounts to fit bother over the regular iPhone lenses (which are good enough to vlog with in broad daylight) as well as the moment lenses(use these more for low light situations). I also use the moment MagSafe cold shoe mount and attached a SHURE MV88+ mini shotgun mic on it, a small but powerful mic (however may upgrade to the RODE Wireless Go II system). I don’t really use a vlogging tripod as much as I used to. I tend to do it more run and gun style and just shoot handheld on my phone. The iPhone’s image stabilization is amazing but on occasions when I do use a tripod I will use either a Joby Gorillapod 3k pro or the Smallrig mini vlogging tripod. My first iPhone was the 12 Pro Max 512 Gig. I came from a Galaxy Note 9. I shot two music videos for myself using nothing but the Note 9 and they came out AMAZING. Shortly afterward I saw the keynote for the iPhone 12. I’d always known iPhones were the best at video, but when the 12 pro Max was shown on stage, my gut told me I needed that phone. I thought to myself if I can do what I just did with this (at the time) 3 year old note 9. I’ll be Steven Spielberg Jr. with that 12 Pro Max. I bought it full price from the Apple Store. The price made me question my sanity. It was worth every penny. I intended to keep it for at least 3-4 years. The pictures literally forced my to be a photographer. The video was better than I even imagined. I’m a full blown cinematographer now. Then of course they announce the 13 Pro Max and they make the biggest update to the CAMERAS!!!!!! I fought it for as long as I could but I eventually caved and got the 13 Pro Max. On paper it’s not that much different than the 12 but if the camera is important to you it’s MUCH better imo worth every penny. I now have a 13 Pro Max 1 TB (I filled up 512 in 4 months) in Gold with a genuine leather limited edition D-Brand skin on the back. It looks like an Oreo ice cream sandwich if someone replaced the ice cream with a Gold Bar. The leather patina is premium. Sometime I sleep holding it it feels so good in the hand lol. This phone is perfect. I’m glad I waited to switch from android to iPhone until the 12 series. The ONLY thing I miss from my note or any android phone for that matter is Google Assistant and it’s integration. Siri needs a SERIOUS boost to match the quality of the rest of what the iPhone has to offer and how well it does it. Also shortcuts are MASSIVELY underrated. Nobody talks about them. They’re incredible PS if anyone wants to check out the two videos I shot for myself with the Galaxy 9 search Pen Frank “Last Night” and Pen Frank “Heads Up” (Official Video) Only things used were the Galaxy Note 9 and a DJI Mobile 3 cause I had nobody to actually hold the phone and film for me lol.

I didn’t feel the need to change it but I got a little carried away and shot close to the swimming pool and dropped the phone. It conked off so yep it ain’t water proof, just water resistant. Ya’all adventure seeking geeks like me take note. So we’ll now I’ve moved to the 13 pro 256 and it works like a charm. Better than expected. It’s so smooth fast and seamless that I feel like I need a hand brake at times hehe and the cammmmmm got to love the crispness of the cam. Absolutely amazing in natural light and even low light shots are the best you’ll ever get on an iPhone ever. 😍 Gonna definitely take care of this phone and keep it as far away from water as possible. I've had my iPhone 13 Pro since the launch in Canada and it has changed my life. My only regret is not getting a 1TB bc I shoot a lot of video but it forces me to stay on top of decluttering and organizing the shots anyways. Coming from the 11, my quality of experience is so much better, especially when used in conjunction with the rest of my ecosystem (M1 Air, M1 Mini, Apple Watch, and M1 iPad Pro). Universal Control has really tied it all together and made it worth the investment (there's something very stressful about paying more for your phone than you did for any of your actual computing devices 🥴), especially when working in digital content creation and teaching virtually. Bonus for anyone teaching virtually - the fact that the iPhone front-facing camera with centre stage is so good means that I often use it instead of my laptop or my (very expensive) external webcam. It's really cut down on the extra tools I used to need to purchase (external batteries, power cases, camera lenses, etc)

@@adalbert93_75 I'm drawn towards Sierra Blue, it's got a bit of colour but still quite pared-back and it looks awesome. But I might get the graphite cause it matches with my MacBook and it'll age well. Still undecided I guess
@adalbert93_752 жыл бұрын
@@neobaloyii I had the exact same dilemma but went for Graphite pro max - I think it will age better and matches my MacBook in space gray. Anyway either one is a great choice, enjoy :)

@@neobaloyii what about the green?
@neobaloyii2 жыл бұрын
@@JackHackett1 The green looks awesome as well, but I'm yet to see it in hand. But to be honest I don't see myself getting it cause it's quite a rich colour

I’ve got an iPhone X. It’s about 3 years old. I will be upgrading this year. Kind of waiting until later to see what’s new.

Using a Samsung Note10+, got it the day it came out. I came from an iPhone before. Bought the new Macbook Pro 14" bc of the processing power and I'm going back to iPhone next month

6:27 I think telephoto always have the minimalist look to it because you have less subjects in the photo. That's the point of having difference focal length in the first place. A difference perspective.

Using an Oneplus 7T. Aside from battery endurance, it's fabulous. Nice video pal...

i’m using an iphone 12 right now and i gotta say: one of the most polished experiences ever. I didn’t think i’d care much about the camera or the optimisation, since i shifted to ios from android for the longevity, but holy shit. i get why people don’t want to shift away from iOS (i might be morphing into one of them!)

iPhone 13 pro max 256gb graphite black ! migrating from android to iPhone ! still missing the open source kind of feel of phones ! but overall the iPhone 13 pro max is one hell o f a machine ! especially the battery , an easy 28 hours battery life on usual screen time activities !

I’m currently using the iPhone 13 Pro from when I bought the phone back in July. No I don’t get me wrong. This phone is great and has the better battery life than my old iPhone XS Max

Using iPhone 13 Pro Max 1TB Sierra Blue, went for the maxed out version,because I don’t really carry anything besides my phone and since I was upgrading form iPhone XS 512GB I thought I’d go for the screen and even more storage 🔥 I also can’t go without this phone because It’s my work station, I do everything on it I have movies and music on it, working programs and all sort of stuff So I couldn’t be happier, I love it so much, I use it in Pitaka Mag Ez case and this by far the best case I ever had, sleek and minimal design,such a premium feel 💯

Really well done video as always 👌 Loved the visuals and the review ❤️ Using the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and I'd really like to see what Apple can do with a Periscope Lens.

I'm using a iPhone 13 mini for the form factor. While some people love big phones, I just love the 13 mini. I only wish the screen was 120Hz display.

I got my iPhone 12 Pro Max one month before the iPhone 13 was released. I knew it was coming up but I just couldn't be without a phone, so I ended up getting the 12 which so far has been an incredible phone, where its performance for my photography, gaming, and overall usage has come to basically.. perfection. I could live with this phone for years. And yes, I do think apple should do a dedicated camera. Or, at the very least, make an association with a camera maker to make it seamlessly integrate with iOS. And yes, Sony would probably be the best way to go for that as Sony camera's are great, but their menu design isn't quite so. Excited to see what the future brings us!

I’m using the iPhone 11 Pro Max since January 2020. And got the Z fold 2 in Feb 2021. I still love the camera on my iPhone. It takes cleaner, more naturally detailed and texture resolving photos. The Z fold 2 is a decent phone but the images have that typical Samsung over-sharpening which makes me not want to use the camera on it as much. This makes the experience of owning it a bit unsavoury. The iPhone’s “fewer but more consistent and refined” way of doing things compared to the feature rich Samsung, does make my experience of using it much more fulfilling and satisfying. After having used the Samsung Fold for over a year, I don’t think foldables are the future. I really don’t mind Apple not coming up with a foldable iPhone. It’s also due to the scale at which Apple needs to produce iPhones compared to the competitors that makes it difficult for them to bring in dramatic new tech and features every year. Samsung can afford to do that since they don’t sell as many phones. That’s cheeky but true.
