I'm a 46 yo white oilfield worker from Montana. Clearly you and I are from two different worlds, yet here we are, listening to the same song, and having basically the same reaction. That speaks volumes to me!! It tells me, that no matter our background, upbringing, political, spiritual, or religious beliefs, we're all still facing that same struggles. This man just happened to be able to put what we all feel, into a couple beautiful songs. Think about that! So glad you appreciate the realities he sings about. Oliver has struck a chord in the heart. I was a drug addict from 12 and lived that way for half of my life. I know the pain he feels, for many of my friends lost their lives before their mid-20's. When I came to the Lord, He changed my life and now I take the message to the streets and on KZbin. We may not have musical talent like Oliver, but we can all speak truth. Oliver needs prayer because his background struggles are difficult and he needs the Lord to sustain him. The bible verse (Mark 8:36) he posted at the end stresses the immeasurable importance and value of the human soul, and to ensure you're right with God, rather than putting all of our focus on materialism that the establishment wants you to put all of you time and effort into.

When my in laws bought land out in East Texas we helped move their stuff out there. The next morning I sat on the porch of their house and just cried. I understand the “no life” reference to this channel’s name, but you have the wrong interpretation I’m afraid. It’s much, much bigger than having no life. It’s about the circumstances we find ourselves in, within society, and life, that are caused by greed, and corrupt politicians, and the blind NPCs that follow them. It’s about how their political policy and corruption has created an unjust world full of despair, dependency, and evil and it sucks to be in a world where this is how it is day in day out, and because of the hardships of todays new world, it has created a situation where he is hard on himself and beats himself up mentally daily and it’s exhausting. That said, he wants to be called home to heaven, because having to be here in this world, as is, is becoming unbearable because the rich politicians have created a perpetual cycle that most folks cannot seem to find a way out. I'm English and I have no connection, love or history with country music of any kind, but I know authenticity when I see it and I have never seen anything this real. This guy has tears rolling down my face listening to his music and has my anti christian heart melting and reconsidering my non existent relationship with god, that's how powerful this is.
