As a skater and human rights law student, it’s really refreshing to hear someone in the skate world take interest in human rights issues and what NGOs can do for people around the world. Skateistan is brilliant. Jamie, this blew me away dude. Fantastic conversation.

Mr. Perkovich is THE MAN. he has the soul and the heart for all his deeds in making Skateistan. This episode is sad, but also beautiful. I have goosebumps. I imagine if we in Bosnia had this, without any regrets, what would will happen, but in 91/92/93 skate companies were fighting to survive I guess, and skateboarding was that global. I'm happy for these kids. Keep On! Damir

Wow. I can't even think of what to actually say, but wow. Such an inspiring episode and so incredible to listen and see what has been created in such harsh places with these great people. A lot of people go through life never truly finding their purpose, but Oliver certainly has and it's remarkable. I hope things only grow from here and more people realize the amazing things that can come from skateboarding. Thanks Jamie and Oliver for sharing this with us
