Side note, there is a public group on face book called Oliver Farm Corporation. There are many pictures of the Charles City plant in production and test track etc. I thought you would enjoy. I think at one time you said you were not on fb. A lot of old time Oliver tractors, pretty cool for sure. Enjoy your you tube page. Take care!

Hey Ethan with out cutting ruts in the field you want loose any teeth during spring tillage. The combine looks good with tracks. The best thing you got going is you will always be able to get your crops out when they are ready to go. Great videos. Can't wait to see how it does in your wet ground.

Have to give you a medal for patience! I've been done combining for almost two months now. Took another two weeks to get the stupid thing clean enough to store it for winter but that's another story.

You should watch RB auctions, you can buy a good new/used excavator dirt cheap in that size. For a fairly price lately. Use it for about up to ~500 hrs. Then turn and sell it for same money. Saving you money over all. Plus you will not be rushed to get the work done before your out of hours. I just did this to dig a hole for a pool. Company wanted ~$20k to dig and haul off the dirt. I bought a mini ex and trailer for less than $10k. Did the work and sold both to a local landscaper for more money than I paid.
@Oliver66FarmBoy9 ай бұрын
You’re probably not going to buy a 40 thousand pound excavator with a hydraulic thumb cheap and then you still need a way to move a machine that big.

Thanks for the track view. That was a good angle and I could see the back wheel in the background. Everything sounded better than I thought it would. I figured those tracks would make a lot more noise than that. Not bad for the corn either. See you soon.

Glad you're finally able to enjoy the fruit of your and multiple people's labors. Looks like the tracks are helping to minimize rutting. Out of curiosity...wondered if the tracks suck any power away from the engine? From the video, looks like there's a minor learning curve on turning, etc. But, small price to pay for getting the crop out!!!
