Back when you came on the scene, my wife, who had been fighting cancer for 5 years, had to have emergency surgery on her spine. Brother, YOU carried us through that time. Finally, one of us stood up and folks across the world took notice. You gave us fire to keep fighting. We started playing everything you had on the tube, in the hospital room and it lifted all 4 of us to new heights. She passed in January, but we can't thank you enough for providing the fight songs of the soundtrack to one of most difficult times of our lives. We too are descendants of coal field people, Appalachia. In 2014 we left the big town and headed back to the hills to be self sufficient as well. Keep on keeping' on, as you will be in our prayers brother. And keep going to the woods, that's where the real creator reveals all.

God bless u. I watched my mom slowly die of breast cancer for 3 years. And this year watched my dad die of dementia. Not to mention my brother suffering a stroke a week b4 my dad went in hospital and my brother was pretty much on life support day before my dad went in hospital. Same one as my brother and neither one of them knew the other was there. Dad passed on st. Patty's day and my brother passed on may 21st. Our family home which was our home 3 months after I was born in 69 was sold in August. I understand the pain of losing the people, pets, and things we love the most.

Thanks for sharing. A Veterinarian once told me, the reason dogs pass before us is the unconditional love and affection they give. The give everything in their short lives. Letting them go when it’s time, is the last great act of love you can give them.

Americans are losing everything that should be and is our birthright as Americans. Giant corporations have lobbied, bribed and even blackmailed lawmakers in order to make it happen 😳 They hate competition. . Just look around, mom and Pop stores, gas stations, restaurants etc ain't owned by Mom and Pop. Because Mom and Pop have been taxed out of business. When the taxes didn't get them, they used the 3 letter bureaucracies to get them. . Then instead of Mom and Pop, it's Mamood and Papood that got a generous government grant that bought the business for CASH! They do well because they don't have to pay taxes for 5 years. They run the buildings into the ground doing zero maintenance, then once the building is nearly delapedated they sell the property to the major corporate chain businesses. Voila!!! Competition eliminated. Then suddenly, what was once a thriving family with an honorable name, gets disrupted. The young ones that should be inheriting their family business are the young military aged people we see living in the streets, under bridges, in tents. All strung out and addicted to hard and deadly drugs that slowly destroys them. Sorry for the rant but, not sorry... It's 100% true every word of it. *AND IT'S TIME FOR IT TO STOP* !!!!

I need to say this to you. I am 72 and grew up in the 60s. I was saved when I was 8 years old. In my teen years I started going the way of the world. I smoked pot and stayed high a lot. Thank goodness God pulled me back and was able to use me for His glory. I stopped too late for my health though. I trashed my lungs. I have COPD. Please put that pot down and keep your lungs clean. The Word says stay sober. Please do that and just let the Holy Spirit lead you. I believe you are being lead by God. Just let go and let Him in every way. Love in Christ ❤

CBD or THC should be made medically legal, brother. It's no different than a medical doctor prescribing you pain meds which are wayyyy worse than marijuana and highly addictive, which leads some to heroin addiction which is beyond worse compared to pain meds. Maybe he is using CBD or THC or both to ease physical ailments like I have (mostly very bad back and neck issues) from being in the construction field my whole life and I am 53. What a beautiful homage to life and to self reflection. My brother and my 19yo son made the nearly 500 mile journey on the Camino de Santiago. They walked over hills and valleys, through sunshine and storm, meeting some of the most beautiful people along the way. They said it was a life changing experience that is difficult to put into words. My brother plans on returning to walk a different route. I bet it's an experience of a lifetime. Buen Camino!

Romans 12 is nicknamed "The Little Bible". So much in that one chapter! 25 years ago my new pregnant wife and I bought a $400 trailer and pulled it to 3 acres in the middle of nowhere in the woods in southern Alabama. The trailer was so rusted and rotten, the roaches had to hold hands when the wind blew to keep the walls from collapsing! 😂 Had a temporary power pole with two extension cords to run a fan, crockpot and a few lamps. Water hose from a water well, no hot water heater. Camping toilette in a shed was the bathroom. Had to dig a hole in the woods with post hole diggers to empty it. I could go on and on but the point is Ive been there! I appreciate where you've come from and where you're going. You do you! Love your vision!

You can't carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. God always first, then family. Turning to God brought your music to us. It helped people just hearing it. It connected and helped to know someone else gets it. Keep turning to God and be still and he'll know. When I was a little girl during the late 60s and 70s my daddy loved tent revivals. He would always stop if he seen one. I don't think they're a thing anymore. I'm hearing more people talking about faith more than ever. Where your sitting looks like heaven to me. Quiet time with God right there. Let all thoughts just pass by and let God take the burden for a moment. Love that loyal dog and be grateful. Our oldest dog is 14. Raising chickens (meat and egg) and rabbits, and growing a vegetable garden so big we started a business selling the produce. Its hard work, but MAN, is it fulfilling, like I've never had before. I knew I had to get back to the base of life. Nature. Its all around us, and we ignore it. No matter what you do, you're a good man. When we have to go, just like our dogs. We cant ask for more than just being a good dog.

We need to teach people how to garden and raise animals, harvest the animals and then can, smoke, dehydrate or freeze dry the food. If they learned how to be more self reliant they won’t have to work 40+ hours a week. This country is in real trouble I’m happy that you are voicing what we are all thinking!

That’s what I’m teaching my kids! We’re in a small town and don’t have land for animals, but I teach them to garden, can food, my husband has them help build projects, we do sourdough, cook our own meals, teach our children about GOD, and both me and my husband teach RE class at church ( 2 separate grades). We’re doing our best while my kids still attend public school. Instilling those good values at home.

I'm sorry about your dog (I had myself a good crying jag about dogs that I've lost). BUT, I do think that we are at a turning point on Earth. People everywhere are sick of the broken systems and being used, and they're realizing it's time to be brave, put our foot down, and say "no more". I have a similar vision. I believe the so called church (or people of God) have dropped the ball horrifically. My wife and I started a taveling tent Revival ministry. To travel and ingnite a fire in the people of God. My prayer is this will end up being a movement somewhat similar to the Mennonites. In that we will help show christ passionately and super naturally. My prayer is simple churches with out all of the glitz and glamor. With store houses whith local food from local farmers to build real communitiy again and a people of God of fire for God. I pray God direct your path.

My dog is about all I have left. I lost everything a few months back when a "family member" had me evicted, kidnapped my grandmother to "care" for her and threw away all of my belongings before I could return to MY HOME to collect them. This brings me to tears. For so many reasons. The greatest being that I’ve been feeling this disconnect to the world we live in and the system we are forced to be enslaved to. My spirit has a hard time participating in it. So I feel every single thing you have said but then I don’t really know what to do with all of that which leads to bouts of depression. I just want out…out of this fake world we are living in. I want to know the truth about everything and I know that’s going to be painful but it’s the only way I see forward movement happening. I feel you. My husband is a disabled vet. He helped me get out of the system by giving me & my daughter (who just went thru a divorce) a place to live. I was able to quit my job (working downtown Mpls for a banking lawyer), close my bank account, and stop driving. It has been far from an easy life, actually hell on earth, but also rewarding. I want no part of this broken system. Unfortunately, my husband is trapped in the big pHARMa, military, entertainment industrial complex that uses him like a limitless ATM machine. We just gotta keep fighting against the bad & bringing glory to God however & wherever we can.

I had a white German Shepard who was truly my best friend. I had him for about 18 years. I had to make the decision to put him down. It was about 40 years ago. 😢 I still miss him and wish I could just sit and pet him. My heart hurts for you😢. The thing is, I didn't want him to suffer. He was the very best friend I ever had!!!!!!!

The precious souls in our lives, that we call dogs, are one of the purest forms of love aside from God himself. They love us unconditionally. They only want a little time and affection from us. They are the most loyal beings with only one agenda. And that's to love us and be with us. It's one of the most excruciating things to experience the loss of a beloved pet. Everything in this video resonated with me. 37 years ago, we left a fast-paced suburban area and bucked 'the system'. We moved to a rural area in Virginia and never looked back. We turned our small home and our acreage into a thriving homestead with big gardens, chickens, goats, and a few horses. A huge burden was lifted when we left that rat race, and I was able to stay home w/ my 3 sons. Nothing can take the place of raising your children. Prayers to you for your beloved dog. We recently lost our Labradoodle to Lymphoma. He was only 5 when diagnosed. W were blessed to have enough savings to afford chemotherapy to give him an extended life. We had him for 16 more months. I understand your grief -- losing a wonderful family member is so painful. I appreciated your reading of Romans....the Pauline Epistles are rich. Dogs know your heart, so do horses. They will match your heartbeat to regulate. I just had to put my dog down in the first week of October. I never had to do that, even though I’ve had a lot of dogs and they live long lives and just go to sleep. I always feel like I could do more, make ‘em last longer. It’s never easy.
