0:55 I have worked in archives and they should wear a mouth cover and gloves in order to protect the documents from drops of spit and the greace from our skin. Not wildly crying out words, which will disperse clouds of contamination that may lead to mould and such.

Soooo....Richard was having an affair, had a kid, and decided to accuse his wife of adultery (did he pay off the servants to testify on his behalf?) to get rid of her, had another kid, finally succeeded in divorcing his first wife. In the meanwhile his first two kids with Sarah are illegitimate. I wish they had found the marriage certificate between him and Sarah to look at the date. Did they find it and I missed it?

There's nothing to say which wife was the mother of Richard's two older sons. At the time, the father would have the rights to the children of the first wife after a divorce, so the existence of these two boys is not evidence of an affair. If Richard believed they were his own children, he would most probably have taken them. Of course, it is also possible that one or both of them were born from Margaret's affair with the harpist, and Richard took them anyway.

I mean in fairness, it's equally possible that both Richard and Margaret were miserable in their marriage and they were BOTH having an affair. Nothing to say the reports of Margaret's infidelity were falsified just because Richard was getting some on the side as well.

Dame Judy Dench had a bit of surprise with her wdytya. It was rather amazing too but I did love Ms. Olivia as well. Very amazing, and what a great family stepping up to care for Harriet. It is a lovely story.

I'm curious to know why the rolls of paper ...did they just record the instance and keep writing below for the next instance? (I know nothing how things are/were recorded in Parliament being an American). Thank you for any replies!

@@Chris-ji4iu The laws past in Westminster have been recorded on vellum scrolls since the middle ages. They kept on doing it until a few years ago because it is stronger than paper, lasts longer, and also has the whole "this is important and old and almost sacred" vibe to it. I liked it. It set apart the laws from ordinary documents; gave them magisterial significance.

Love Olivia Colman, she is adorable, that big smile of hers makes you smile when she smiles, lol! She reminds me of my best friend, I mean they look a bit like, and I hardly see her because she lives too far away, so I don't get to see her much! I wish these videos would be tagged as part 1, part 2 and so on, so that I know in what order to watch them in, because this seems to be the first part, but I already watched the other videos! I started with Boy George, then Annie Lennox to Olivia, and they were all over the place! But I do like this channel better then the Ancestry one, since it's obviously more like a commercial for their services, which aren't cheap! So watching rich celebrities using it to trace their family tree, isn't fun, plus each video lasts 4 or 5 minutes, with no other videos of the same celeb, like this one, which is why I know it's mostly just to get us average folk to sign up to find our family tree!

Is it possible that Charles Young Bazett borned on 12.9.1807 was actually Margaret Bosset the 1st wife's son (together with William Bazett, his older brother borned in 1806) n a step son to Ms Sarah Bazett the 2nd wife?

I wondered that too. Maybe his birth was listed somewhere with Sarah as his mother? And the show just didn't elaborate on that? Also guess they didn't care who the mother was cause they were just following the Bizett line. If I Was Olivia I would want to know if the birth mother was Margaret or Sarah.
